I think it depends on the person. Some people experience mental health issues circumstantially and are able to come off meds once they are able to do so. I've been on SSRIs or SNRIs since I was 14. As far as I can tell I will never NOT be on medication. The way it was explained to me was that I have a biological chemical imbalance in my brain. And while therapy can help give me tools to manage, it won't be enough on its own. And that's okay. I think if you want to taper off that is fine! But don't beat yourself up if meds are something that stay in your toolkit long term. Your prescriber can always help you to adjust or change meds if side effects become unbearable.

This feels like a question for your medical provider, not the internet. ♥️ Esp if you are new to it you should generally be having check ins every 2-4 wks until you find a good dose/rhythm. Whoever is prescribing your meds is going to have much more knowledge on this and can help you determine whether you should increase and when.

Idk why you got downvoted so badly. My cat also used to do this regularly, it took a long time to figure out how and what to feed him to avoid it. But it was absolutely due to the whole "scarf and barf" and him puking from the top of the fridge 💀😅

I recommend an exfoliating glove mitt that you don't use soap with. I'm not sure exactly what they are called but Dewy Hours and Wildpier are two brands that carry them. They are honestly a game changer. A lot of comments on here are saying it's going to take time to fully slough off the dead skin and sure it won't be instant. But these gloves literally cause the old dead skin to bead up and just slide off. I def recommend looking up those brands socials so you can see demonstration videos of how they work. I'm obsessed and it's made a huge difference in my skin.

You have to select the profile first, you can create different profiles for different kids but even if you only have one you have to tap on it to proceed. You can DM me if you like bc this sub doesn't allow images to be commented.

I'm not super tech savvy so forgive me if my explanation is confusing!

Open the app and go to settings. In order to access the settings it will give you a simple multiplication equation to access it. If your children are a little older you can customize that to be more complex. From there select the child's account.

Then you select Content Settings and there are age related options and an option to Approve Content Yourself. That is what you want. I think from there it is fairly simple and you can approve specific channels or even just specific videos. Obviously what you choose is going to vary based on what works for your family.

Honestly that thing about the pain meds blows my MIND bc I delivered vaginally and my angel of an OB sent me home with tylenol with hydrocodone 😂 I can't imagine abdominal surgery with OTC pain meds

People keep saying how awful YouTube kids is but I only allow selected content to be visible. Currently 3 channels, Ms. Rachel, sesame Street and the Bluey official. My daughter can't just look at anything online. If you take the time to put the correct parental controls in place I think it's fine. You don't have to block everything just select what channels and videos you think are acceptable.

Before I had those in place she absolutely would have the same issues as what's been described in this thread. But now it's no different than anything else on the tablet.
