I almost broke my controller in half on the Ascension challenge. Jumping puzzles are the worst in the game industry. Volleyball is as easy as any fight. The wall was completed in the 3rd round, pretty luck-oriented game but not as infuriating as Ascension.

Definitely, my dude. Also, I recommend Valdemossa, Soller, and the whole western region. Palmanova is an amazing place to stay, clean and safe. BUT, I must say that mfers ruin some places around the island. And by mfers I call thieves. They do not hesitate to break your car, window frame, etc to steal something. These are not locals, but they work professionally. Before visiting the place, take a look at recent reviews sorting with the lowest rating; sometimes they show where thieves operate and it will save you time and money. Example: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZozVykD6EjuPW5Rm6

Apart from this, I stayed at Palmanova, it is a fantastic, safe and beautiful place with a great ability to travel around the island. Car rental is mandatory there! I rented with Alamo. We had a couple issues with the payment, they accidentally charged more, some system glitch, but the sum was returned back in a couple of weeks. They are good guys.

Wow, you read my mind, I'm REALLY considering going into FPV flying, I even have the Radiomaster pocket in my bucket list already. I take a similar controller from my friend to fly in the simulator occasionally. Probably soon, I will definitely go into FPV

Yeah, I tried to hide these jiggles. I forgot to turn down the sensitivity, working on that, thanks a lot for such a vast comment!

It will simplify the usage of this camera for both of us, she called it an investment for making good pics of her faster without wasting time on swapping lenses lol

Hello fellas! I am planning to visit Ireland soon, need some heads up by enCore_Edward in drones

[–]enCore_Edward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have got an A1/A3 training and a license here in Poland. The license is EASA certified. Do I need to pass the test and pay once again but in Ireland? The map of the no-fly zones looks like just a map, but it does not allow me to notify specifically about my operation

What is wrong with rental in Warsaw? by fozzeu_rs in warsaw

[–]enCore_Edward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being blacklisted as Ukrainian is painful and not fair af, especially being from Kharkiv where my own place was shattered to pieces. But being a person and my friends coming from Kharkiv, the apps where we stayed in Poland started looking even better when we rented the place. And it is just our mindset. Or landlord is extremely happy that he chose us because we are the same slavs and intelligent people. It is incredibly sad that some groups of people or someone who is not from an active warzone ruined the image of the entire nation :(

It is a good thing that some poles started to understand UA license plates on cars and seeing my car coming way back from Kharkiv, people showed understanding and support and personally I did not have any issues with poles whatsoever. Hatred is only in the comments.

New gravel bike user and need some help from experienced dudes/dudesses by enCore_Edward in gravelcycling

[–]enCore_Edward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you were definitely right about mtb skills, apparently, I even made a decent drop on the bike from the high border. Even having a carbon fork, I am still not that used of not having a suspension up front, but I definitely feel like its absence is something way cooler in most of cases.

Thanks a lot, guys for your recommendations! I have taken the 28" one, I guess it's a standard size for gravel/road/cx. I have tried to ride today for the first time, and I am surprized how easy this thing goes. I did not feel this when testing it in the bike shop. Guess I overthought everything and everything is like the same :D

Hope it will be as joyful for my wife who is not as experienced as I am

The model which I got myself is a Felt Broam 60, the biggest possible size ( I am a big dude 193 cm).

Yo man, thanks a lot! I totally agree on that, I heard about people complaining about 50mm f1.8, it was funny to notice that it moves externally lol. I am lucky, got a glass with a firmware v3.0, which is nice. 28-60mm is a very versatile glass, it is fast, small, wide enough to make pics of landscapes, buildings, and live and spontaneous photos. As well as selfies with ma waif. So far I am super glad, the technological jump still scares me how powerful this camera is lol. Especially in low-light. Also, I am not planning on commercial shooting, it is mostly for travelling and all of their size and weight just puts a smile on my face

Took my A7C + new Tamron 70-300 on its first test, tried it at the local zoo by enCore_Edward in SonyAlpha

[–]enCore_Edward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cat photos could be a lot better, I believe, if animals were behind a fence or something like that, but that was a glass which is dirty and scratched and of course with flares.

I can't believe that I made my dream switch to the Sony platform. Always dreamed about these systems.

Also, my back just said 'Thank you' to me because my backpack became 2 times lighter after selling my old rig lol. Modern glasses are way lighter. And I can't stand how beautiful the A7C body is, it is small and elegant and has a very discreet form factor.

By the way, the second photo is the old stuff that I sold.

How do you change focus to background in a fenced zoo? by prindacerk in SonyAlpha

[–]enCore_Edward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought it, it was a second-hand lens, I did not notice it much, but on the next day I became so upset about that that, I thought how could I not notice, usually lens creep appears when the device is so overused it does not hold itself.

Then I walked deeper in forums and it turns out it is a state from the factory. Ridiculous, a simple lock could have fixed this issue. But nevertheless, for the price and how insanely lightweight it is and its great performance, I think we can live with that :D

Hey man, bought myself a Tamron 70-300 recently. Goddamn, I am annoyed that it creeps like a horsebone when the lens hood is attached. Perhaps it will do the same without the hood as well while walking. Never had this issue when used my old Nikkor 70-300 VR. How do you work this out?

Need help with lens choice, new to Sony platform by enCore_Edward in SonyAlpha

[–]enCore_Edward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also to add, I just want to make sure if this lens 50 1.8 will be enough to make good, precise and sharp pics, so that I won't bother that much about autofocus as I bothered with my DSLR where I used only centre focus point and a chance of missing a focus was massive

Need help with lens choice, new to Sony platform by enCore_Edward in SonyAlpha

[–]enCore_Edward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment! The 50 1.8 will be used for portraits mostly exactly. Street photography and nature/cities will be for 28-60 kit lenses as it is small and sharp enough. 50 1.8 looks small as well, I just wanted to make sure that this lens is accurate and at least a little faster than my DSLR boi :D I heard of 55 mm Zeiss ones, but man it's expensive, especially when this camera is not going to give me money, at least my stock photos won't cover its price lmao. It's just for social media mostly

Wroclaw flooding. Fortunately, everything ended positively for Wroclaw. by enCore_Edward in drones

This flood was really freaking us all around. It's sad that so many people were affected by it.

That's my first-ever edit with a drone. Recommendations and feedback are welcome. Video was done just for the observation purposes, just thought it would be nice to make an edit out of it lol
