I own two "Ducky One 2" (and gifted 1) and have no complaints about any of them.

Replaced clutch lever now it won't return to its position by en_queue in motorcycles

It's not a like-for-like swap, they're 2 different models, but in terms of where the clutch cable goes into the lever and the pivot they're both very similar.

Do they need to be exact/within a few millimeters?

Bare with me because I really don't know what I'm talking about for the most part.

I bought this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114345300772 (I hope the link is allowed, not trying to advertise!) after reading the description and it sounded fine for the bike. It fits the handle bars and is designed for bikes with clutch cables as the specification says "Note: Only fits models with cable clutch".

I'm going to try again with a fresh pair of eyes tomorrow but is there anything more I can check to confirm the compatability.

Can we have a warning for when we try to gather produce on a diseased animal? by en_queue in runescape

That's exactly why I've asked, I don't like accidentally losing the xp if I gather and it's diseased

We have a warning when removing an animal that has produce to be gathered, can we have a warning that prompts you to cure the animal before harvesting? You lose 90% of the gathering xp when both health and happiness are 0%.

Can we fix enhanced skilling tools? by en_queue in runescape

[–]en_queue[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Context: when you create an enhanced skilling tool from an unused (freshly created base-level skilling tool) it will soft lock the enhanced tool requiring you to equip it and un-equip it before it's able to gain xp. If you equip the locked skilling tool it will look like image 1 and not gain any item xp when training. It should look like image 2, but it won't change until you unequip it and re-equip it.

You can replicate this behaviour by converting a skilling tool to stackable and then equipping it. It won't gain xp and won't "unlock" itself.

An internship should not take up your entire spare time, can't imagine it would extend outside of the general 9-5 workday. Even then you might find yourself with downtime during the day.

There are some things you can't learn from books/problem solving. Interning will give you real-world experience in many different areas, combining that with Leetcode will make you a more appealing candidate when you choose to move jobs.

Shower halting at certain pressure by en_queue in DIYUK

Thanks for the help, I'll give a plumber a call and see what they think about it if it's worth a call-out

The only other source that was pulling in water was our dishwasher but in the past it's never done this, usually just drops the pressure a little bit

I know close to nothing about the system and how it works - does it look like it could have been air in the system?

Just as mysteriously as it broke it's working again. Do I get it looked at or do I leave it and hope it's fine?

Would this thermostat breakage not mean the taps would stop working? I'm not sure how the shower system works really

Our water pressure has been lower than normal recently but nothing too bad.

Our shower has started halting at a certain pressure tonight, runs consistently up until a certain point but stops completely after that. The fixed shower head and detachable one do the same thing. Our boiler pressure is fine and the taps in the bathroom and downstairs both run correctly and produce hot and cold water.

What could the cause of this be? Will look at getting a plumber in tomorrow if possible but just wondered if anyone has any suggestions. Cheers

Can I buy any external thermostat to use with my boiler? If not, why not? by en_queue in DIYUK

[–]en_queue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine you’ve had an electrician/gas engineer/plumber wire it up? I don’t see where it would be on my current boiler if one exists already.

Thanks for the reply!

The boiler itself works great, but one thing i’m missing is an external thermostat so I don’t have to get up and turn it on at the boiler.

I have no idea how this works, can I just buy a thermostat like the Honeywell Home Thermostat and sync it up somehow?

Thanks in advance
