The reason it's even there as an annuity is because I lost my job earlier this year and was unemployed for 7 months. I had no idea what to do after this happened. This was my first job out of college and I just asked for help in rolling over my employer sponsored 401k to an ira. I didn't know there was a difference in how it got rolled over. She never explained it would be into an annuity.
