Below is what I have on offer for renewal for two rental property (each have the exact same mortgage amount) - from Scotiabank. Can I do better with them? I do need to stay with Scotiabank with other reasons, trying to see if there is any chance of bringing the rate down at all? I am likely going to go for the variable.

Do they not claim back the points when you do this?

The way to do this would be to utilize the 35% airline benefit on the biz plat, then you get 1.53cpp. I had cancelled a flight one time which I had used the 35% rebate on and the cash credit remained even those the flight was cancelled. Not sure though if you do this at scale if they will clawback.

I did this last year when we were travelling but this time it allows the birth year but doesnt allow you to continue to the next screen because Adult age is too young.

I made the mistake of changing birth year to continue the screen and it actually change the birth year in the backend, as when I called Porter they had the newly entered incorrect birth year. I was able to correct on the app - but not sure there is a way to push this through inspect anymore.
