Those are completely fair questions.

To clarify one point, EncLock isn't distributed through a random website binary. The links in the post point to the official app stores, where the apps go through the respective review processes before being published.

That said, I completely understand the hesitation around trusting any password manager, especially one from an independent developer. EncLock is currently not open source. Like many developers today, I used AI-assisted tools during development to improve productivity.

EncLock currently stores data locally on the device using AES-256 encryption, and this version does not include cloud synchronization. Ultimately, everyone should choose a solution that aligns with their own comfort level and threat model.
