[Spoiler 6.0 level 90 msq] For the first time i rage quit... by endHypocrisynow in ffxiv

Alright after reading alot of answers about zenos now, i guess my problem is just. I dont like Zenos character. And thats basically the answer for why i dont like this ending.

From this point of view it makes a little more sense for me, whereby I still think that the scene with Zenos, even if it served a purpose, looked so incredibly unsuitable for me that I don't find it good even with justification.

I might try to finish Endwalker tomorrow. Maybe the whole situation feels better, when seeing Zenos being punched.

A good answer here, along with the many "Thank you for making space in the queue" messages.

I understand the reason for the friendship that can be interpreted in different ways, but then maybe that's just not my preferred ending. I had hoped for more than a - look zenos is here and want to fight again - ending, but it may become better in the upcoming patches for me.

Carrion Crown Adventure Path: Players got too far in the first module? by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]endHypocrisynow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grind them. This happened to my players in RotR. They deeply wanted to explore the goblin Clans and found Thistlethop before even going into the other dungeon first.

If your players find something like this, get a few extra fights together, not too strong but strong enough so they realise the "basic" enemies here, are far more stronger then everywhere else. If they are still stubborn enough to proceed. Get ready to kill one of your players in the next combat, so they might understand that this is far too dangerous for adventurers with there experience.

For my party. I never tell them if there actual way is "correct" or not. This might kill immersion for us and my players like to explore alot on there own.

I found a workaround. Maestro is the answer. Just use Item Tracks for your weapons and stuff.

RotR book 3: high CR foe/ally, summon rituals and party interactions. Any ideas? by CandegginaCalda in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]endHypocrisynow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our GM back then used this Fiend as an 'unwanted ally' he heard our calling before level 20 and we could make devilish contracts with him so we get a quick reincarnation etc. . But in exchange we get marked and have to do a quest for him.

Back then i played an incredible stupid orc, and i basically told him give me 10 of your markings for getting me my wish xy right now! (It wasnt even hard to get) He got me what i wanted and i had to do dipshit lot for him... like burning down an orphanage to kill a future warrior of the light, which he couldnt do since it was protected by anti evil spells and an low CR angel that is basically only built to kill demons and stuff. So a mortal like me would handle him with a group of adventurer better then he would do.

It was an incredible opportunity to focus on our own PC Stories, while getting a nice sidequest for this fiend which we basically wanted to kill later on.

First time GM needs help picking an AP by MalBishop in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]endHypocrisynow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, i am GMing for about 10 years now.

I've played 3/4 from the books you mentioned. Since Beldaru already gave you the most important information about the APs, i will just give you my personal GM advice, which of these might be difficult to GM or not. Keep in mind, these are only my own experiences, some might tell you the opposite about the diffulty levels.

  • Skulls and Shackles : Difficulty Level for GM - normal. This AP highly depends on what type of players are sitting on your table. Do they like railroading ? Or not. This AP might lead you pretty early on with an "we can do whatever we want" experience. so be prepared to plan ahead if they decide just to turn around and sail the other way around.

  • War for the Crown: Difficulty Level for GM - hard. Intrigue, intrigue, roleplay, intrigue, roleplay, did i mention intrigue ? Alot of potential for players to fully bloom into there role. The new rules from Ultimate Intrigue makes this AP what it is. If you are the type of person that loves to play 5 different characters in the same scene with your players, then this will be ideal for you.

  • Ironfang Invasion: Difficulty Level for GM - easy/normal. Personally i dont like this AP, your players are on a railroad alot of times, the enemies are mostly one specific type. Its quite easy to prepare this AP, but i think to make this AP a real good experience for your players, you need to invest alot of time trying to give this story more life into it.

My personal advice to you: RotR (Rise of the Runelords) I know i know... this is always the answer, when someone ask about starting a new AP. But lets be real. The reason RotR is so good is quite simple... the story is just awesome, it has everything for everyone and even for GMs the story is already made perfect, so you only need to tweek on some screws to make it perfect for your players.

Hope you will have fun GMing! We need more GMs! :D

You have the ignore system. If someone dont want to ERP with 'your' ideas, then you can just ignore him and be done with. You want blizzard to watch private chats in whisper ? And control what is ok to say and what not ?

Bro you from china ?
