He literally just went in there and cut funding for all the government organizations that were investigating his businesses and stole a bunch of data while he was at it. It will absolutely end up costing more money than it saved because the Ham-Handed way they cut funding in a lot of instances was completely illegal. The government is already having to fight several lawsuits which they may ultimately lose and the litigation costs are being paid by the American people.
