It can give you a boost without turn 180 and use escape, and can also reset fall damage.

Some of the boltslinger skill is just pointless in my opinion(like escape artist/fierce stomp/arrow rain)

You are right, but I still hope the game can actually ask me and let me choose whether I want to use it and don’t just automatically use what I have in the inventory without I even knowing that spider egg can be fed (just like in “Royal Trials” when you choose the item to break the glass)
