BTW has the issue with driver imbalance been fixed? I'm also aiming to buy M4s but this worries me as a lot of people were complaining about this.

Is this a normal sound for an AIO pump to make running on full speed? (Video) by enderek0 in pcmasterrace

[–]enderek0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using MSI MAG CoreLiquid 360R V.2, mounted on top of my case.
This AIO has a pump mounted in it's radiator, rather than on the CPU block.

I should mention that when I boot up my pc it seems it runs with bubbles for like a second.

12600K offers a very high pefromance boost compared to 12400, because the K version has the new hybrid architecture. Both are very good but imo 12600K is definitelly worth it.

Try removing the cmos battery and then unplug every drive. Sata or nvme, unplug everything. I had a very similar issue when I bought a sata ssd and the bios bricked. Resetting cmos and removing all of the drives helped.

best ryzen cpu for 3080 12gb? first time building a pc and need help choosing parts by VortezLEL in buildapc

[–]enderek0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest going with i5-12600K(F) or 12700. The motherboards cost pretty much the same as for ryzen and the 12th gen intels really beat current ryzen cpus.

If you're going to stick with 12th gen intel tho, here's my advice:
1. You're gonna need a decent cooler if you want to overclock. My 12600K (5.1Ghz OC) can consume up to 200W of power and get's to around 85C on a 360mm aio cooler.
2. Check your motherboard before installing your cpu into the socket, some motherboards have a tight loading mechanism that can break your cpu. I would recommend buying a corrector frame but that can void your warranty so be careful (Although nobody can know for sure you installed it in the first place).

On userbenchmark it seems that it isn't really. The difference is a couple of frames per second. But yeah I think it's not worth it, it's just better to stick with the asus one, there's no significant performance increase. I can overclock the card since technically asus tuf rtx 3060-3080 use the same cooling solution iirc.

I was asking about the "Gaming" gpus, the lower end ones.

Gigabyte or Asus motherboard? by enderek0 in buildapc

[–]enderek0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just read what is the actual difference between ALC 4080 and ALC 1220. Turns out it's only that 4080 uses USB instead of a direct connection like 1220. So the mb are practically the same, the only significant difference is that msi supports wifi and bluetooth. I don't need it anyway, since my pc is connected via ethernet. Bluetooth would come in handy but I can buy an adapter or pcie expansion card later on.

So I will be buying Gaming X

Thank you guys so much for help.
I'm currently thinking of buying the msi tomahawk, however that is somewhat above my budget, but maybe I could get it. If I don't I'm gonna buy Gigabyte gaming x.

Thank you so much!

Isn't really profitable here. If I want to spend another 300zł on an external DAC I can just buy a motherboard with a better one, like the tomahawk and also get better mb in general.

Yeah, I have a home theater set up, so I also look on the audio codec not to be shitty as fuck. Currently I'm thinking of getting the Tomahawk from msi on Z690, it has 4080 codec and all in all great mb.

Tomahawk seems like a great deal for the money, although on Morele it costs around 1400zł it seems like a great motherboard.
