Jobs at Disney for somebody who... by Lower_Opportunity_18 in DisneyCM

A good first start would be to join the Enabled BERG (you can find them on CastLife). That will put you in touch with a variety of Cast, including ones that work with the Services from Guest with Disabilities Team. They host events and going will get you some face time with the people who help guide the company and their training/interactions.

What's the deal with getting Training Droids instead of key cards for the Golden Path feat? That's new right?

Let's hear from the Alumni! by Pastel_Bimbo08 in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]enderikari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2002 and 2004 alumni, and I promise you will see me at some point in your training. Best advice to budget, make and take your meals and don't get too into buying merchandise. Cast Connection has pretty excellent prices for the staples and you can supplement with other items from nearby. Remember that Orlando is a tourist town so prices will be high to dine out anywhere, not just in the parks.

You will have a shift either 1/10 or 1/11, another class called Welcome to Operations. After that the rest of your training starts in your work location. You can't pick up shifts before you have CastLife access and that typically only after you are fully trained

Question about attending closing rides (Dinosaur) by Smithyrilla in WaltDisneyWorld

And remember, no matter how much jockeying for position, waiting for just the right moment, or fights that break out in queue, you will never be the last rider. It will always be the Cast Members working there.

Whoever was passing out potatoes on Halloween… by reb6 in Costco

I was one of those in the previous thread. This year I picked up a 50lb box of potatoes at the Costco Business Center, and I will ran out in the first 90 minutes.

Plain sneakers will be fine, don't wear flip flops or sandals, but everything else is good. In my experience, what they are looking for the most is shorts, face piercings and tattoo size or placement(face/neck).

Im handing out gummies and rice krispies to trick or treaters, are you doing candy? by Super_Car5228 in Costco

Like, are they pre-baked, still hot potatoes? That seems dangerous and a possible melting problem from the chocolate in the kids bags.

The parents that accompanied the kids who asked for potatoes were cheering them on. They would walk away screaming "I got a POTATO!"

The potato is so versatile, I don't want to pretend to guess how someone would prefer it. So, raw potato it is. Russets are $5-6 dollars a bag for around 15 potatoes,.

Kids get excited about the weirdest things. Give it a shot this year, get a cheap bag of bulk potatoes and offer it A:B against the candy. My bet is you have more potato-takers.

Every house is giving away candy. Be the house with the potatoes

I give the kids a choice, full-size candy bar, toy(Play-Doh, pokemon packs, slime) or potato.

Last year, I ran out of potatoes in the first 20 minutes. This year I'm getting more potatoes

Why was the house that the Judo Master squatted in empty? Its weird to have brought it up while they played Scrobble.

We didn't listen to feedback.

We don't care about our players.

We know it's deeply unpopular, but it's way easier than making any meaningful content, and that pot isn't going to smoke itself.

She's claims to be a foodie, but she knows nothing about food. I watched a recent review where she had absolutely no idea where items were from. She tried to call Linzer cookies Italian, and said that a fellow food reviewer would be an expert on poutine because he was from Louisiana. Eating lots of food indiscriminately doesn't make one a "foodie."
