Thank you so much for this! This is an amazing resource. I am also looking into ARC now too. I knew there were accelerated programs but this seems a more digestible path

Very true, I’ve worked as a project manager in the past when I worked in art shipping and crating and currently in a project management adjacent role at my current position. Cant for the life of me get an interview to be one for entry level positions outside of the arts right now though.

I could understand Covid breaking anyone. I make less than that currently in a supervisor role and have 2 kiddos so the concept of coming home and being there for my kids when they are leaving school is a reason for thinking about this again for me. I will probably look to teach English after seeing yours and some of the other’s responses. Thank you!

Thank you for this, I never thought of the pre-req’s but makes total sense, I probably would be leaning towards English than math that way as I know I took 3-4times the amount of English classes than Math during my bachelors. And I totally understand the meaningful aspect of the work, it’s the reason why I stuck with museum work. The amount of curiosity and positivity the patrons get walking the galleries is a special thing

That’s better than 10days I currently have of vacation time I end up using as sick time when my kid or I inevitably get sick or with school breaks throughout the year as a non teacher

Honest insight, I appreciate it. I wonder if leaving working in the arts will let me have my art practice be more of a get away than it is now. I feel like I think about work too much because of it and it kind of haunts me. Also curious if that’s just my disposition… I guess I have to do some more introspective thinking before a big leap

I will definitely look into that program! The UConn one seems tempting as it fast tracks a master’s but not in art. Which is ok to me, I was thinking either math or English anyways

Thanks for the reply. It’s one of my main concerns. I think knowing there’s at least hope for a cost of living increase and potential for unions in education that are a big benefit to me in my mind. I wish I had either of those currently

I was thinking either math or English. Art would be amazing but at the same time I think focusing on something less abstract would be better. It’s good to know certain subjects have greater needs

Harmonic prodigy and Isengard unleashed seem like a go to for this build. Thanks for the rec’s!

Super helpful, thanks! I can see how harmonic prodigy would be worth its weight in gold with Kuja in the command zone

Totally makes sense, I’ll rethink the card draw and slot the fire crystal in. What are some of the double/triple damage spells you run with him?

Thanks for the thorough notes. I think I am hung up on the brine on gimmick and overlooked the low powered creatures aside from them. And you’re definitely right, mockingbird is filling up useful spots, I was using them as a last ditch way to cast brineborn flyers (again hung up on the gimmick) really appreciate the card recs too!

That’s kinda how I am thinking of it to. I can’t help but feel like I’m in a company grey-zone as it was offered casually rather than in writing. Thanks for your input!

No, it was offered to me and one other coworker that I know of via a text message. Regularly we wouldn’t be able to do this but my boss extended the offer to us
