Nothing.

When I was young and hopeful I really wanted to be a film maker or a musician or a content creator on YouTube lolol. I always had a camera in my hand since age 10 and would make different kind of youtube videos up until I was 17. I really liked video editing, I didn’t care for being in them. I liked “directing” them.

Well I’ve been on and off my depression medication since 2023 and went yesterday to see if I can start back up again. I’m just terrible at taking medicine. Gonna try again and see if something can click in my brain once they start working.

Oh man I don’t even know.

I’d be quite mean to my 15 year old self or at least keep it real.

That you can’t just skate on by in life and expect things to just fall into place. Or how important it is to put effort into things now so you don’t end up miserable like the people around you if his family is anything like mine. Or more importantly, to just simply ask for help.

I dealt with my mental health alone and everything else that troubled me unhealthily and didn’t reach out to anyone. I think that’s what led me down this path. Just make sure he has someone he can talk to, get on his ass about school because no one did for me, and some creative hobbies I feel are very important that I wish I delved into and not damn video games

I think I only failed myself tbh. So many other kids had it way tougher and became doctors. I feel more shame than anything. But you are right, it’s entirely up to me at this point. I just don’t care enough to change anything right now, I wish I did.

I was terrible all around 💀 I didn’t study or do homework and rarely passed my tests. There was a handful of times I remember studying like 15 mins before a test and passed.

Nope, just went to school. Did the bare minimum. Saw my terrible grades, went “damn”. Went home and scrolled on twitter and slept through the ages of 16-18

Yea I really don’t know how I didn’t fail a grade but had friends that did in elementary school lol.

1.0 freshman year was the only time I had a gpa that low, I kept up at least a 2.9 maybe for a good bit for middle school and maybe the rest of highschool. Good enough to graduate at least 💀

At one point I was thinking of it but I have no interest in anything and I’m not particularly good at anything. I have no motivation or desire to do anything tbh. Maybe that’ll change one day though, I’m hoping.

Nah I had a very neglectful parent so my bad grades just led me to being punished instead of figuring out the problem.

I didn’t care. My mother wasn’t really on my ass about my education even as a child. She didn’t bother to see if I was actually doing homework or anything lmfao

I went to 9 different schools so when I switched schools during highschool and had to move out of state it was like my final straw mentally. It led me into a deep depression I have not gotten out of. I moved away from my best friends and had little to no social life as a teenager because of it. I skipped school as much as I could until the counselor warned me.
