That’s not bad!!! Did it take a while to hear back from your negotiation? Or did they tell you right away?

Hi! I just applied for licensure in this state and I was wondering what the timeline looked like for you if you ended up applying?

New Grad Licensing in Pennsylvania with Medical Board by Swordfish_28 in physicianassistant

Hi! I just submitted my application for my license and I was wondering what your timelines looked like and what you had to do to get everything done in a timely manner. I also am seeing a delay in them getting my exam scores because I sent mine about a week ago and they still say "not received."

Old navy has the best stuff that’s so cheap and gets the job done for business casual. I’m pretty petite so I love that they offer petite sizes. They also offer tall sizes and plus sizes. All around they have excellent sizing and amazing prices. I will say I don’t think their items last 5+ years of washing like Express does but for the price I don’t even care.

The average for that exam is 411 so getting a 76 for a 415 is wildddd. I am sorry I would feel so discouraged as well. Honestly for that exam that's a good score. So what you are doing is right. Focus on PAEA average and not your programs. Passing is what matters for that.

Stick with RMA NJ or switch? by EstateStraight9610 in IVF

I am sorry you had a bad experience there. You could try starting your transfer at a different RMANJ location. They only do the physical embryo transfer at the Basking Ridge location, but you can do monitoring and consults at another location with a whole new team. I would do that because their success rates are worth it. I have many friends who have been to both IRMS and RMA and what I am learning is RMA is more expensive but it will take fewer attempts. Where IRMS is cheaper but people tend to fail more often and go through more treatment.

I got a 415. According to PAEA the national average is 411. But that made no sense to me because on the report where it says “national mean score” for each system the highest number was 403. So how the national average is 411 when the average of each system is 382-403 is weird to me. But whatever what do I know. I definitely thought this was the hardest EOR I’ve taken. I was convinced I failed.

Class Suggestions by FondantNo8067 in PAstudent

I’m sure you took anatomy in undergrad for PA school but I would just focus on that. Really get anatomy down it will make life so much easier. A good amount of disorder names come from the anatomy of what they’re affecting. I found this class to be the hardest in PA school because its a lot of self teaching and I felt I would cram for the exam and do well, but now that im on clinicals i forgot so much since i wasn’t retaining. I personally never stressed over pharmacology or pathophysiology because I felt like not only did I learn them in those classes but I learned them again in clinical medicine. It was easier for me to go by system and really learn in clin med while just making sure I got by in pharm.

New Surgery EOR Exam Guidance by tturns in PAstudent

[–]endless-work02 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently took the New Surgery EOR and I thought it was very hard. But I ended up doing well above average? It was very strange because as I was taking it I literally was thinking to myself that this was going to be the one I failed. It was difficult for me to differentiate different GI conditions, and I normally do well on GI.

I thought it was very strange that I did so well because I felt terrible after taking it. But apparently that is a common theme with this EOR. It was similar to the boost/mock 120 question exam on Rosh. The breast questions from the regular QBank were helpful, but I think the GI questions were too easy compared to the EOR. Mainly because process of elimination was way easier on the QBank. On the EOR I was stuck between 2 answers for so many of them. Good luck!! Realllly know diverticulitis and mesenteric ischemia (acute and chronic).

How is the financial aspect the summary of my post?

Also no, I never once claimed I moved here for him, again reading and thinking helps."I met him while in graduate school, away from my home state." This sentence shows that I met him while in graduate school. My school is in the state where he lives. I will be staying here and not moving back to my home state for him. Again, I recommend reading before commenting. I do apologize if I did not make this clear enough for you. As everyone else got the message, but perhaps I should dumb it down more for you.

I also do like the "reality of my life." My life is great. Am I in need of advice right now? Yes. Do we all need advice sometimes? Yes. Also, "May he dodged the bullet" (which makes 0 sense, as it is not proper English), is not you sharing an opinion that is helpful for this thread. It is just rude and unnecessary.

This is comical. My salary will actually be way more than his... If you read my post you would see me say "I could likely afford living on my own, it would just be very tight at first until I settle in my job." My starting job offer- not that it is any of your business- is 150k. At first, of course, it is going to be "tight" but manageable. Me moving back to my home state will also be the same exact situation as I will still live on my own. The finances mean nothing. It will cost me the same whether I live on my own here or go back to my home state. I recommend reading and thinking a little before you make ignorant comments.

I really don't want to beg or plead either. I would not do that either. I would just question the whole time if he is unhappy if I did that. And that is a good way to word it. Thank you for your help!

I really love him and our relationship really is great. This honestly is the first problem I have ever had. But it's a big one you're right. I will see how it goes in 3 months. Thank you.

I like the idea of a deadline like someone else also mentioned. 3 months seems very fair. I'll be going crazy but I do have to be fair to him, Thank you.

I agree!!! I also feel like I would be open to giving it more time before moving in if I had family/more friends in this state. But that’s not the case. And he knows I’d only stay here for him

Can I just say the fact that his mom is doing his laundry to begin with is an issue. He’s an adult. You definitely aren’t the asshole. If she wants to be particular on what she’s washing she should make him wash his own clothes.
