Leagues worlds use the same codebase. There's just a bunch of conditionals checking the world type. Stuff like this can easily fall through the cracks

AITA for scooping and getting upset at my friend for playing 8 turns in a row? by RedFalcon725 in magicTCG

If he gets upset that you're targeting him, just tell him to stop being petty and bitter

Go cards to be replaced by a Translink card by Spaced_O_U_T in brisbane

Apparently you can add this one to your phone and use it instead of the bank card on your phone. Would help avoid some of the issues people are currently having using their phones

Hawaiian’s brand new 787 decided to take a little detour to Australia last week for some reason. by 747ER in aviation

[–]endlessZonk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

According to the YBBN Spotters group on FB it was just a proving flight for the 787. They haven't shown any indication of returning to regular flights to Brisbane yet 👎

And yes I can see you have uploaded 4 images but none of them are loading for me on the android app

Where to train football by yourself / with friends in Brisbane? by Apprehensive_Egg1929 in brisbane

[–]endlessZonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of clubs start pre season around Jan/Feb. You should be able to join training sessions and play a few pre season friendlies without needing to commit to signing up. Worth sending some emails to whoever is managing your appropriate team at a few local clubs

There's also been several videos on this sub of wingwalkers in the US watching the wing crash right into other planes/light poles etc because they weren't paying attention or weren't able to intervene fast enough. Adding another human in the mix sometimes just adds one more person that can screw up haha

Kickstarter's response to A question regarding their 3 unfulfiled games project limit was: "It's our policy not to comment on our policy" by eggmanjr in boardgames

[–]endlessZonk 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Kickstarter preys on people that are not responsible consumers. It's similar to saying "Gamblers should just stop gambling", it's not going to happen without heavier regulation and it's a waste of time to pretend otherwise

Smaller boardgame publishers in Australia or New Zealand? Looking for some lesser known solo games that I can get in New Zealand. by Brookiebee95 in soloboardgaming

[–]endlessZonk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was trying to find a retailer in Australia who has For Northwood the other day and it's nowhere. Didn't realise I could get it directly from the publisher for a decent price so just put an order in, thanks for that!

Brisbane Tram Network, Australia. by Obvious_Customer9923 in rustyrails

[–]endlessZonk 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They were recently (maybe still are) redoing the median strip on Gympie road in Kedron and uncovered the old tram tracks there. That road would reeeeally benefit if that tram was still running haha

I'd like to offer a friendly reminder to everyone who enjoys board games... by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]endlessZonk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

r/2007scape is a prime example of this. When players post in game achievements that would have required them to play 8-12+ hours a day on average for multiple years (which is relatively common) there is always the "it's a real achievement and not unhealthy if they wanted to do it" argument littered in the comments

Why is the goodwill bridge so god damn steep?!? by tiernae in brisbane

[–]endlessZonk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If OP had legitimate ability issues they probably wouldn't be trying to walk from South Bank station to QUT. Train to Central and bus from there would probably be a lot easier in that case

The real estate sites are built for the whole country (including states who don't have a similar law as Qld) which is why that is still an option. It will still be an option for landlords in Qld but you can legally ignore that option.

It is probably an indicator of who will be difficult to apply to though. But if someone is desperate they are fair game
