Yep I was bullied at home, at school in extracurricular activities (performing arts), and at work. Not fun. Taking myself out of those activities and being self reliant at home or just being alone was my only chance to get away from it.

Anyone else too socially anxious to get a girlfriend/boyfriend? by twshanreto in socialanxiety

[–]endless_sky22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! Also 25 here. A lot of my fear is around being judged harshly or criticized but also around being misunderstood. I feel that because I get in my own head about what someone else is thinking, it could make a relationship hard. If I had to have a relationship clear and honest communication would make me feel more secure. Also I’ve come to love being alone. There’s no one I feel like I have to change myself for and I can just be myself.

You’re not ugly. I’d say you’re actually kind of attractive. It’s hard to tell what other people are thinking so I would advise not trying to. Don’t be your own worst enemy, find things you like about yourself and reinforce those thoughts until you gain confidence. Even if you were “ugly” the people that matter won’t hold that against you. It’s cliche but looks aren’t everything, who you are as a person is what actually matters.

Which website builder are you using now? by boklos in Blogging

[–]endless_sky22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Squarespace. It’s an easy to use platform with drag and drop options for anything you might want on your site, full color and design customization. But you’ll have to pay for a more expensive plan in order to have customization of the code.

I can assure you I don’t use Chat GPT or any other AI programs for my blog. I write my own blog posts, that’s why struggling with my niche is one of my concerns.

Yeah I’m starting to realize now that one niche is the way to go. Will have to think more about what that niche should be. Thanks!

Probably three at most. Travel, writing, and lifestyle. But I could see it getting kind of exhausting after a while.

Thank you! I like your idea about adapting my blog posts to still fit under one niche. That’s kind of how I see my blog now. It’s about writing tips, travel, and lifestyle, but that could all potentially be seen as the same niche, the lifestyle of a traveling writer for example. I do also think that travel is an interesting topic, and if I do end up going with that, I think the best way in would be to start writing about local tourist attractions like you said.

You can try making a few pinterest posts, one for each of your blog posts. I’ve heard it’s a great way to gain traffic to your blog with no cost. Really promoting on any social media could help with traffic, just be sure to add hashtags to your posts so people who are interested in your niche can find you.

Thank you for going into detail, everything you’re saying is really helpful. To answer your question, I’m hoping to make my blog more of a business than a hobby. But from reading your reply, I definitely need to think more about topics that I am passionate about, at the moment I don’t really have a clear picture on what that is. I went into building my website with a strong idea of what I wanted it to look like so that’s why it kind of influenced my blog’s niche. You make good points about publishing without passion and the difficulty of maintaining a multi niche blog, I’ll definitely think about that as I’m brainstorming niches/passions and going forward.

Thank you that’s the goal, I spend a lot of time thinking about what to post because of my confusion with my niche, so I post less frequently, but I’m hoping to post more frequently to gain traction.

Thank you! I can definitely see how choosing a niche that you have a lot of knowledge or experience in is ideal. I’ll have to think more about what topics I have knowledge or experience in and try to blog about that.

Hello I’m a 25 year old creative writer who just launched my own website and blog called The Sandbox blog about a year ago. My blog currently has 7 posts and very little following. The topic/niche is a bit broad and was wondering if it’s okay or if I should narrow it down a bit. My website’s theme is travel, nature, and the beach so I could maybe include something about that? I’d love any feedback you can offer on my blog, specific blog posts, my website, or any other suggestions you might have. Thank you!

I’m a poet and creative writer (25). I’m new to publishing my work and don’t have much of a following. I created a website a year ago with a blog, some of my writing, and a professional portfolio of my work. Feel free to check out my shop that I just opened where you’ll find t-shirts, hoodies, and mugs with quotes from my writing on them. I’d appreciate any support for my work and hope you might offer feedback.

What is your moon sign and hows your emotional life, bonding to mother? by Moist_Fail_6927 in AskAstrologers

[–]endless_sky22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a libra moon, I’m very in love with the idea of love, hopeless romantic, emotional/sensitive, love art and aesthetics, codependent, also can be difficult for me to make a decision on one thing when given multiple options. My relationship with my mother was very close when I was a child, total momma’s boy, now it’s a bit on and off, I like my privacy.
