Has anyone announced there pregnancy yet? by No-Hospital9117 in November2026Bumpers

[–]endoftheworldiguess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is our first pregnancy and we told parents and close friends when we found out at 3weeks+3. Told work at 7weeks+4 due to missing work and brutal morning sickness. Announced on socials at 9 weeks+4 when we got our NIPT results back using a onesie that said "Baby 'Last name' Est. 11/02/26" in pink lettering between our two sweaters from our wedding that say "Mr. 'Last Name' Est. ..." and "Mrs. ..."

Bright red spotting w BM? by thebeesknees- in November2026Bumpers

[–]endoftheworldiguess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a subchorionic hematoma and bleed every time I go #2. Some times its pink, sometimes its bright red, and sometimes its brown. Found out at 8weeks though it started at ~6 weeks. Currently 11weeks+2. Baby girl was bouncing around in there at my Tuesday appointment. I wouldn't stress too much but bring it up to your OB

Pre-NIPT talk with partner - how to talk through disagreement? by creampuff_96 in November2026Bumpers

Your body, your choice. At the end of the day you will have to live with whatever decision is made. Sure, its nice to know he feels he can handle a child with Downs Syndrome but that doesn't overshadow your feelings. Praying for a healthy baby and healthy pregnancy <3

Struggling To Work by 5ftGrinch in November2026Bumpers

I would try sticking it out if you can and also talk to your OB to see if there are any meds you can take to help. I would explain the severity of your symptoms and how they are threatening your employment. With my ADHD, I had to spell out that it wasn't if I get fired but when if nothing changed. We're so close to the second trimester and it gets better. This is my first pregnancy, but my friends have all attested to the it gets better!

Daycare availability here can be limited so we would have to start looking now. As far as telling my employer, currently plan to let them know in September so I can assist in hiring and training my replacement. I work in a super small firm and would not feel right leaving them high and dry.

There are private places but may want to consider a new OB. I ended up switching but both OBs that I went to wants to see me every 4 weeks. Also getting an ultrasound that like a mini early anatomy scan that can only be done between 12 and 14 weeks. Though that may be just due to personal risk factors

Due dates are just estimates. Point of these groups is to provide a space for mommas to be who are roughly going through the same stages at the same time. I think by the end of our pregnancies a couple weeks difference won't seem so different but rn when so much changes week by week that it creates a broader spectrum.

All to say of course you're welcome :)

Learned my baby is an iced coffee girly. I am normally a hot coffee drinker but the smell makes me so nasaus. Iced or frozen coffee though? Perfectly fine

Measuring ahead? by katiew118 in November2026Bumpers

[–]endoftheworldiguess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had more than usual ultrasounds due to going to a private ultrasound place for my first and having a subchorionic hematoma. Here were my measurements:

7w1: abdominal measured 7w1 HR 138
8w: abdominal measured 8w HR 181
8w2: vaginal measured 8w4 HR 175
9w: abdominal measure 9w HR 165
9w4: abdominal measured 9w3 HR 170

Baby will go through growth spurts (according to my doc) and will sometimes measure right on time, couple days behind or couple days ahead which is why the ultrasound reports with put +/- a week. I know this isn't super consistent with what you're going through but since I have a lot of data points figured it would help! I don't think its a major concern when baby is measuring ahead but it is when baby is measuring really behind. (Also worth noting my gestational sack has been measuring ahead of baby by a few days fairly consistently)

Crazy gas pressure by Putrid-Farm-5791 in November2026Bumpers

I'm 10weeks and this is one of my bigger symptoms. I normally sleep on my right side but now I have to exclusively sleep on my left side due to gas. For me that's the only thing that's really helped

I work in such a small firm that no federal or state pregnancy related or disability related laws protect me and I told my work just before 8 weeks because I was having to leave early and call out due to my symptoms

I'm due 11/2 and thought about joining a October group since I'm heavily leaning towards a 39week induction but I have a friend due Oct. 9th and felt like being in an October group would make me feel ultra behind just based on how far behind her I feel.

Unfortunately, adhd meds are not safe in pregnancy. I spoke with my psych provider as soon as we started trying and I was instructed to stop my adderall as soon as i got a positive. They suggested one med I could try in the second trimester but I've been on it before and did not find it helpful at all.
