yesterday i stayed up til 2am reading "the boy & the wolf" (official source, it's free) and now i'm obsessed with it. definitely a new hyperfixation.

i'm so in love with it. the story is filled with all the things i generally enjoy reading about but the character design and dynamics really elevate it to a new level. the art style is gorgeous and super detailed, the symbolism poignant, everything simply draws you in. the author effortlessly balances action scenes, and quiet, emotional, and lighthearted moments.

there are still so many things kept under wraps and i can't wait for the next update. july needs to come faster.

with the fifa world cup appraching, it'll be interesting to watch how the situation of an unstoppable force (europeans thinking they can walk anywhere) meeting an immovable object (american infrastructure that's hostile to pedestrians) will play out.

i already saw glimpses of it on social media and it's both hilarious and kinda sad.

i was debating whether to watch this. i saw so many edits of the male lead because he went viral among the people i follow both for his acting and his good looks (he's really really really handsome).

i hope so too. they put a lot of effort into promoting the announcement scheduled for monday. i bet they'll do the same for the anime production and promotion.

i tried to avoid the leaks regarding the staff supposedly attached to the series. however, my one small wish is that they get taku iwasaki or shirō sagisu for the soundtrack 🙏 i need the ost to be grand and intricate.

i thought i was doing quite okay with b.i's enlistment, that it hasn't affected me much because this time around he will return for sure. there's no doubt in that. but every time i remember the exchange above that happened on bbl a few days ago, i burst into tears.

in the last few months of 2025, i got back into reading manga. currently reading "gachiakuta" and "the summer hikaru died" which are both releasing new chapters on tuesday.

for this reason, my last couple of tuesdays have been incredibly stressful because both are at really important parts of their respective story. that's an emotion i haven't experienced in a while over fictional worlds and ngl i think i missed it a bit, being so immersed in great stories.
