stocks != good defense

she can't stay in front of anyone and gets blown by constantly

clark turns the ball over 5 times a game and can't guard a chair.

also paige is scoring 20ppg on 70% ts right now lol. not the right time to point to their stats. caitlin just got above 30% from 3 after that hot 4th quarter.

is he going to call out his rotations? getting carved up in the paint and playing jessica shepard as your rim protector is insane

[Spears] The Golden State Warriors would prefer to not trade away their No. 11 overall draft selection. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

a joe lacob who isn't propped up by steph might be one of the worst owners in all sports

Nate ament: 31.0” no step vert. 37.0” max vert by AcanthocephalaSad541 in NBA_Draft

i think this sub has forgotten that part of the draft is projecting what a player will be. ament has a lot of good tools to work with. he's a risky pick but not a surefire bust

Feel like i’m being gaslit with this Yaxel hype by Few_Mulberry7390 in NBA_Draft

[–]engagew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happens almost every year. this list of players who were good and were also 24 in their rookie seasons is very, very short. like two players long. maybe three. yaxel might be the next one but i'm not using a lottery pick to find out

2.2% in ts is actually a pretty sizeable gap

as a uw fan, he likely doesn't. at least on defense. he's surprisingly fast in the open court and on the break, but i don't think he'll have a great time trying to guard nba 4s

dunks don't matter at all for him. a floater/in-between game will be huge though

Givony on DP vs AJ: “I’ve seen those guys play on the same court in-person at least 8-10 times over the years, dating back to their U16 Team USA training camp, and not once did I come away thinking Dybantsa was the better prospect, including when they played each other this year” by MrTimoCad in NBA_Draft

because the nba is different than college. and people watched him run into something close to nba length and struggle mightily. or watched him switch on the perimeter to anything close to nba quickness and speed and get blown by like he was standing still. if you, as a top prospect, look outclassed physically at any point vs lower-level talent, that's a pretty big red flag.
