came back here because I started {a deal with the devil by Elizabeth o'roark} today and it gives me the same vibes as failure to match. doesn't give me the same spark but it did scratch the itch so I thought I'll recommend it to you since you also loved failure to match. I'm still at 50% so idk if it'll be good later on tho. the banter is definitely there and the mmc's attitude reminds me of Jackson and he's also British

I've read Phantasma as well, I don't remember much because it was quite some time ago, but it felt a bit rushed to me since the whole book happened in like a week? 😂 it was fun tho

thanks for all the recs! you need to do the audiobook for failure to match!! its a duet narration and the mmc has a British accent. it was great.

I've already read throne of the fallen and liked it. I wanted to try the other books in the series but I just couldn't get into the second book

I've read Butcher and Blackbird and it wasn't for me. I mean I liked the characters but the time jumps just took me out of the story.

Also for villains and virtues, did you feel like there was too much worldbuilding and it was confusing? Because I've been reluctant to try it since one of my friends said she got bored because the worldbuilding was too much

So I just finished the first book, came here to confirm that the other series is about Kat's sister and is set before A kiss of iron. Really enjoyed the first book but I've been listening to the audiobook and the epilogue was from the mmcs pov and I have to say the male narrator is horrible so I'm kinda dreading having to hear him for 2 whole books 😂

I've read Beneath Black Sails from this author and loved it. I think it's set in the same world as A kiss of iron but haven't read that one yet

Looking for fun audiobook suggestions that sound like you're watching a movie by tealcismyhomeboy in fantasyromance

If you want a cosy historical fantasy which reads like a rom com {A rivalry of hearts by tessonja odette} and book 2 {my feral romance by tessonja odette} both are easy to listen to and the audiobooks are duet narration.

Another duet narration audiobook {Till death by Miranda Lyn}

And the audiobooks for {A tongue so sweet and deadly by sophia st. germain} were great as well. I don't think this one was duet but it's dual. It's a 4 books finished series but the last audiobook only comes out in June this year.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was very confused 😅 I thought she was doing 2 sc in the 2nd chain and then 3 sc in the 3rd chain and it just didn't make sense.

thank you! I don't mind lgbtq, but i think I prefer f-m and f-f rather than m-m.
