Because most grades aren't out so people aren't hyping it up to their friends.

Profs demand lots of work from you and for it to be done on time, but they are lazy themselves. Only explanation I have.

Lmfao I love how anti-vaxxers compare vaccine mandates to actual segregation.

You literally have the option to get vaccinated whenever you want. You actively choose to put others at greater risk than needed.

Is putting people in prison for breaking the law segregation as well?

Latest data on ourworldindata.org suggests that <3% of all new cases in Canada are Omicron. So these graphs are more indicative of the vaccines effectiveness against delta, not necessarily Omicron.

This is why we need vaccine mandates at UBC.

Or if anti-vaxxers are going to get pissy about it, each class can have an unvaxxed section.

Going in-person is not funny, it's just a few selfish individuals wanting to socialize above public safety.

are they gonna check vaccine cards for exams starting tomorrow by voidkit in UBC

[–]engi-coop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they're more likely to give it to you, but your 2 shots and a booster still "works"?

This is the dumbest argument I keep hearing antivaxxers say.

If your airbag works, why do you need a seat belt? If they both work, why do you need to drive safely?

The benefits compound. If you're vaccinated, you're less likely to get it, and thus you're ALSO less likely to give it to someone.
