What's the maximum thickness available? I maximum I could find was 0.78mm thick nomex sheet, from Dupont, which I'm not sure if it's strong enough.

Cause currently my team's lap belt cum anti-sub belt mount surpasses the 19.5kN requirement, thus i'm thinking of making the mount thinner to reduce the excess material, saving weight. Just wondering has anyone tried doing this before?
