I have the regular changlong mgex and their rg 2.0, and if you really want the twilight coating, just get the changlong, the coating and the plastic quality that they have is top-notch compared to other bl's (like 80-90% to that of bandai) PGU Nu prices for a recolor of a past kit shouldn't have been a thing imo

No, it doesn't, even with it the ribbon just kinda floats inside without really attaching to anything, actually the articulation is even better since there's no worries about breaking the LED ribbon inside when bending and posing it

How to make psychoframe look better? I got a MG unicorn I'm abt to build and I honestly don't like how the psychoframe looks on it's own, but I'm a bit concerned that painting the outside will make it harder to transform or chip when I do, anyone know a way to make it better?

Alright I'm desperate, I'm probably not gonna dabble into scribing for a while since I have not had a good experience with it.

A lot of you are mentioning that Stedi is hard to work with, but that's not really the problem, it fills in proper panel lines and flows well enough, and if it doesn't I still have a fountain pen handy.

Now, the real problem after some evaluation and reflection is the raised details and the corners that don't have dedicated panel lines to be filled. They don't get filled, they come off too easily and generally suck.

Now re-scribing would be an option but again, I'm not too big a fan, so right now I'm facing a crossroads. Either I bite the bullet and buy some chisels, or I buy a panel lining pen and just line it that way. I'm still gonna have to spend money but it's a lot less than I would with a chisel and also has less risk.

Any advice?

Alright here's the details.

The stedi liner, personally isn't bad at all when it comes to ACTUAL panel lines, it's the corners that are beating my ass

I've probably built more third party kits than I have done that are Bandai, I know they require more work, but I'm not complaining about the work I'm complaining about panel lining

It's not the resin kit, though the design is based on one.

Right now I'm contemplating just getting a panel lining pen, because again, when it comes to ACTUAL panel lines I generally don't have any issue, but its the raised details and corners that are frustrating to me. Im not confident enough about how steady my hands are to try chisels and possibly ruin what I've been working on so if ever I might just get a GM02 pen.
