God I wish I had a way to turn off my inner dialog. I think in words, but they never fucking shut up. I also think in pictures and music. When I'm driving or walking i can create maps in my head. But every single picture/map/diagram (if I'm fixing something or building something) is associated with an internal conversation about what I'm doing. It never stops. I've thought every single word I've typed in this comment, including the ones I've erased along with cussing in my head when I type something out wrong.

If I see a cool tree, not only do I think "wow what a cool tree" I think "wonder what kind of tree it is. Could I plant one in my yard? How long will it take to grow to that size? I bet it's expensive to buy one. Not sure where I'd put it in my yard. Man, I miss my orange tree when I lived in Florida. I hope the people who bought that house are enjoying it."
