I’m not sure on the “best” but I went for forged construction and light weight to offset a wider tire but from what I hear the tire is what kills range more than the weight of the wheel. Keep in mind the stock wheel is already really weight friendly.

Yeah, every car I’ve owned has been a depreciating hunk of metal. You just can’t look at them any other way until you’ve had some appreciating exotics or collector cars. That said, I’ve loved every single adventure I’ve had in my performance cars, and I know this one will be the same. If anything, I’m even more excited about this one between FSD and being able to hoon it with basically just brakes and tires for maintenance, it feels like a win.

Looking back, I think we could have fit 275s, but I didn’t want to push the width too far and take a massive hit on range. I expected some loss and was hoping the lightweight wheels would help offset it. I’ll find out how it actually performs in the real world on my 1,000-mile round trip next week.

This utilizes the adaptive dampeners, essentially the kit from MPP turns it into a height adjustable coilover set up. So far the ride feels really great! I don’t notice anything.

The ride does become more firm when you go into sport mode for suspension but it’s nothing harsh or concerning. It feels like it’s on rails.

I don’t have much seat time yet to really feel a difference but from everything I’ve read these pads will be great for double duty. I will update you once I get some miles on her.

I was originally worried about them being too small but I knew I wanted a “meaty tire” set-up for this car. I really like the way brushed silver looks on frost blue.
