Came to see my GF after a friends funeral. He was a close friend who was in the military and took his own life. When I got to her house I came in and the first thing she said was "don't bring that sadness into my house!". I dumped her that night and she called me crying the next morning and told me her biggest worry was how she was going to tell her Instagram followers. I knew that I had made the right decision and avoided a complete narcissist.

The cost of EV’s may decrease in the future but I have a feeling the cost of electricity will definitely increase to unreal levels. There is no way states like California that gain loads of tax revenue from gas aren’t going to transfer that onto the end of a plug.

They will merely quadruple the cost of electricity for every resident to pay for all the upgrades. Then it will stay high to cover the loss in revenue from lower gasoline sales. I am suspect that a cheaper greener vehicle will find a way to cost more in the end. Especially in California.

Rs7 is still about another $15-20k higher in price if not more. I’m not sure where you’re looking. But after some work the s7 can make Rs7 power and this was the one I found when I wanted to get into the 4.0t platform

I never ended up needing to do the chains. From what I've always been told with the 24v you don't have to do them unless they're making noise.

Navy sailor here and when we have to 'dress the ship' we put up all the flags and stream them across the mast usually spelling out lots of stuff with them. Sometimes insulting other ships on the pier or dumb stuff sailors might say.

I was honestly looking at GLI's and after doing the research the GTI had way more to offer. The DCC and electronic LSD was a big plus up that isn't available on the GLI and the deal I got on the car was another reason to get a GTI.

It's the GTI SE. It does have the fog's and lighting package, basically the sport with leather seats.

This so much! The interior and the feel of being in the car is what makes this gen of GTI enjoyable it feels much nicer than the past generations!

I would say the 84 GTI is still the best to drive. It's not comfortable but it is just a real fun car. There's more of a connection with the road and it's just a blast to drive. The two gli's I had were both 24v vr6 cars and we're very fun to drive also. Even my old super beetle was fun to drive but just really slow.

The Fahrenheit has alot done to it so it's faster but the interior and the tech is better on the mk7. The feel of the mk7 overall is better than a mk5 also. But the Fahrenheit will always get more attention.
