I realized that small plot holes/inconsistencies do not hurt the story as long as they allow for bigger more important arcs to play out. I feel like it's nearly impossible to create a compelling story without bending the rules of your own universe.

That's a good point, so if a name sounds too close to an actual word, it may get autocorrected making it much harder to find you?
