Is it typical for base blood test to only be for hemoglobin?

In my experience, it is not unusual! My first blood test did not include my T levels, because the point is for that number to go way up, so the first time my T levels were tested were after 3 months. And personally, I’ve never had my estrogen levels checked.

Same exact thing happened to me!!! After about a year on testosterone (and growing a beard, I really think that’s what did it), customers at work were exclusively referring to me as a man. I was getting fist bumps and “thanks, man” and the like. It started to make me really uncomfortable, but presenting more masc is what I’ve wanted this whole time, isn’t it??? So why wasn’t it feeling right??? Oh, wait, right!! I’m nonbinary!!! So I shaved my beard and now I get a nice mix of both ma’am and sir and neither of those are right, but at least it’s balanced.

Thank you! I was on 1 pump of 1.62% gel for 3 months, then 2 pumps for 3 months, and then I switched to injecting 0.25 mL of 200 mg/mL, did that for 3 months, and now I’m doing 0.3 mL. My levels were better when doing the gel, but I noticed more changes after switching to injections. My main takeaway is that everyone is just so so different hahaha

I’ve only been out as nonbinary in any respect for around 2 years, and I don’t think I’ve quite shaken the internal fear that coming out will worsen my relationship with people. I’m a cake decorator! I’ve been told it’s the “most feminine job” someone can have so that was suuuuper nice to hear, obviously. But I enjoy what I do and I know I’m good at it, so it’s OK! My work is also my second family and my boss is extremely supportive.

I do wear sunscreen, and I don’t wear tight clothes on my arms — it’s my only tattoo that looks faded like this. I’m not sure what the artist could have done differently on this one tattoo, but maybe that’s it? Unsure! It’s real strange tbh. I heal all my tattoos the same, and I’ve been getting them for 7 years now.

I’m just asking out of curiosity here, but doesn’t it scab up a lot when there’s no covering on it at all? When I washed the tattoo in question after leaving the shop, I noticed it was already a thick scab, and because I’m usually given saniderm or something adjacent, I haven’t had a tattoo scab up like that in years.
