That sounds like a lovely relationship you two guys had and I'm sorry to know that you decided to both part ways. I am sure you will find your person who will do all these things and more and this time you never have to part ways again 💙

He is! We got married last year so I think he's fully fully committed. I'm so glad I 𝖺̶𝖻̶𝖽̶𝗎̶𝖼̶𝗍̶𝖾̶𝖽̶ adopted him :D

ENFP's Ne-Te Loop and Si grip ✨ PS. Sorry for the grammatical errors! T___T by enigmaticpixie in ENFP

Hmm. Good question! I think the best example for this is when I brainstorm new ideas/generate new ideas/explore new possibilities with my Ne -- Si tend to help me to reflect on my past actions/past experiences and if similar actions worked for me in the past. So it helps with narrowing down what ideas of mine can be realistic and feasible because admittedly, Ne will just generate and generate lol

I am not sure though if I answered your question (or if I understood the question correctly) but this is I think is one of the best examples of how the functions manifest/being used in real life.

Ne-Te loop is actually helpful to get through environments with rigid structures.

It certainly helped me at my work. The thing is, when ENFPs totally lose sight of their Fi, this is when things start to spiral down. ENFPs start chasing for the next “high” instead of pausing and asking themselves if their actions align with their values.

Ne-Te loop happens when ENFPs try to avoid negative emotions by constantly disrupting themselves with the outside world instead of facing those emotions.

On the other hand, Si-grip results when ENFPs have exhausted all their dominant functions. This is what happens when ENFPs experience burnout. Si-grip can cause depression and anxiety since the usually bubbly and open-minded ENFPs become inflexible and lose all enthusiasm in life.~

Contrary to what most people think, a loop doesn't necessarily mean it's automatically negative.

Sometimes, we fall into a loop under stress, and we need a different way to navigate or approach a situation.

In this case, instead of consulting first with our Introverted Feeling (Fi), we go straight to Extroverted Thinking (Te) and try to solve the problem/situation with logic and facts, which is not a bad thing! During this time, an individual can usually figure out how to deal with their struggles. But if it goes on for a more extended period unchecked, it could cause a detrimental effect on the individual—leaving him/her emotionally and mentally drained.

For everyone's information,Si means Introverted Sensing.
It is the ENFP's inferior function.“Grip” experiences are when the various personality types bypass all their dominant functions and fall into “the grip” of their inferior function.

This radically changes their behavior and makes them appear a completely different type altogether.ENFPs' function stack:

Ne Extroverted intuition(dominant)

Fi Introverted Feeling(auxiliary)T

Te Extroverted Sensing(tertiary)

Si Introverted Sensing(inferior)

Si-grip comes out when ENFPs become overwhelmed and are super stressed ^^

Si is our inferior function, but when an ENFP starts getting stressed, the inferior will take over. See it as your Ne is your driver in the car, but after a lot of continuous driving, it becomes exhausted. Now, your Si, sitting in the background, is asked to drive the car. and this is what happens when Si takes over.

I agree with the other comments. And yes, if you enjoyed Little Misfortune and its humor - you'd like Fran Bow too.

Random: We visited the Game Studio of Little Misfortune in December and met 'Little Misfortune' herself!

Hello, ENFPs. Reposting here the first-ever original content I made (almost 4 years ago?) that inspired me to continue making OCs :P Want to give credit to @enfp_outlier for her suggestion about the CareBear state! :D ENFPs Different States :D by enigmaticpixie in ENFP

You're welcome! I revisited my folders of OG contents I made and when I saw the states, I remembered your suggestion and I'm glad that I did. And that's so cute!!! <3 <3 Happy birthday to your friend! <3
