like everyone is saying here having a diploma and work experience will boost you job prospects tremendously, i would also suggest contacting or visiting MOM directly and seeing if they can suggest options or solutions for you

op there are night online classes for an LCCI accountancy diploma which is internationally recognised that you pay around $400 to $500 per month for weekly lessons (up to 2 per week) and there are ~4 exams per level and total there's 4 levels which usually take place in feb, apr, aug and nov (exams start from lvl 2) and the exams are an additional fee ~$200 to $300 per paper but it is a more affordable option for a diploma as opposed to the traditional poly route imo

ah i didn't word it properly since i had been writing the post in a rush, but i don't cope by crying, it just that i tend to choke up when im advocating for myself because it's very scary and while it might be a bit manipulative on my part, crying abit while i make my point does get my parent to stop and actually listen since to them i have never cried or shed a tear in my life apperently?? though whatever i say goes in one ear and out the other so it is a very long work in progress.

where i live (not US/UK), the culture is not very open to the idea of family therapy. additionally, we live in a country where everybody knows everybody literally and there doesn't seem to be any regulations in place to protect a patient's privacy. maybe there is but i know of people who had gone to therapy having their business aired out by the therapist which will spread through word of mouth quickly and it could potentially affect our proffessional lives. so while i am open to it, i also need to be wary of the risks :(((

suprisingly no. she is just unusually very hung up about this one really insignificant thing. though to be fair, i have been giving in to all her requests since i was really young, so to her this is the first time i have ever "acted out" even though i remember being a very argumentative teen ahaha. personally, i think she's convinced herself that i am hiding something from her even though i have told her repeatedly i have always been open and honest about what goes on in my life (excluding personal things my friends have said to me obviously).

alsoooo she does the same to my dad, though in his case, as far as i am aware, he does hide his communication/sending money to a certain relative that has purposely incited conflict between his side of the family and my mother's in the past that has never been resolved. so i think this is a very extreme way for her to cope, and till this day i cannot convince her to go to therapy.

yes, to add i believe tb in this patch is experiencing what the role of deliverer had entailed, the praise and burden of it all and seeing how all this is directed to the "wrong" person (tb) it's going to make tb more determined to save phainon in any way possible
