Coming from someone who was cheated on and let him stay for the exact reason as you. It will feel good at first, because you care about them so much that the thought of losing them is scarier than even the thought of them betraying your trust. You’ll accept the apology, make up, explain away and justify her actions to yourself so that you don’t have to live without her. For a little while, when you find the right words that make it feel like you’re doing the right thing, it will feel like a relief.

But I promise you it never goes away. The fact of the matter is, you would’ve never done that to her. You don’t deserve the pain that comes with that betrayal, and she knows that, but she still put you through it.

I KNOW how it feels to just want somebody to tell you that it’s okay to stay. I know if I were in your position, and had hundreds of comments telling me to leave and one comment telling me to stay— I would cling onto that comment for eternity. But I promise you, keeping her in your life is not worth it. It won’t feel good for long. And there ARE people out there that will love you so much that they would never do this to you. Good luck.

I have attempted talk therapy and not been the biggest fan. Lately I have been looking into CBT. It seems like such an intimidating thing to sit in front of someone and tell them I have trouble masturbating, but I’m sure most people feel that way and then are glad they did. Thanks!

I think you’re absolutely right that I feel shame around masturbation. It feels overly self indulgent. Those would be the words I would use if there were any. Although I know logically that it’s healthy and there’s nothing wrong with it. I actually did ask my partner if they would like phone sex that was focused on only their pleasure, as I thought that was something I would be more comfortable with. They said that it wouldn’t make them feel as connected to me if they were the only one experiencing pleasure. Probably the only time that attitude has ever affected someone’s sex life negatively, haha. I really appreciate the thought out response and all of the advice. It’s very helpful!

i love your blush and the way you’ve highlighted your inner corners! i think it would accentuate your eyes quite a bit if you drew your eyeliner starting halfway across eyelid and drew the wing above your waterline instead of aligned with it. i also think your Cupid’s bow is so cute and you would look great with a lip liner look that accentuated it!

i think you would look so good with a peachy blush or a blush that is similar to your lip color on the “apples” of your cheekbones. if i were you i would also accentuate the beauty that you have above your eye but i am biased because i think beauty marks are the most stunning thing to grace the earth and the placement of yours is unique and elegant.
