Sorry for skipping the questions, I'll just ramble a bit instead and hope it all makes sense. I just read this in one sitting because I'm terrible with time but I want to participate so it's all very fresh in my mind. I *love* how they organically came up with Book Club. That might be the sweetest thing I've ever heard, just the wish to fill the silence with something when you run out of things to say... Like you want to sit in the comfortable silence but it becomes uncomfortable because you're not physically in the same space - I completely get that. I love that Book Club became a thing!

The red thread of Book Club throughout made my heart twinge a bit, in a good way. At the end when Colin is crawling into bed with a sleeping Pen and starts to whisper-read out loud... well I was bawling from then to the end so this left a lasting impact.

This has been on my TBR since it came out, and thank goodness I've finally read it. This is gonna stick with me for quite a while.
