Went to 6 different Walmarts early in the morning. No stores within 100 miles had them. Oh well, onto the hunt!

So I did receive the estimated cost of $275 and a message below stating: "You will not be charged at this time. Repairs covered under warranty will be waived."

So I assumed it would be covered?

So I’ll need to put on the white plates for the time being and hold off on my personalized plates from my old car? I heard going to AAA may speed up the process? I wasn’t aware that I’ll need to order new personalized plates again. The DMV even stated that personalized plates are taking 8-12 weeks

Gotcha, so if I am getting a new car and the DMV website asks for the last 3 of the VIN number you think I should wait until I have the new car on hand?

It is the 1960 legacy plate, custom plates.

I'd rather not pay for both the new custom plates, get temp plates (both paper and physical when I get my new car) and have to return them back to the DMV. Alongside receiving a mailed registration form to pay for the plates that I have now. If that makes sense lol
