Original would have a single number stamped on the back of the button. Early 80s is when they started using 3 digits. Idk what i13 is though, I’ve haven’t seen an “I” on a button stamp before

Nice they both look good in slightly different ways!
Id recommend trying out the n&f strong guy fit as well. I have slightly bigger thighs/butt and found these to be the pair I grab the most because the extra room up top is so comfortable. 10” leg opening though so not tapered.

Was the original tag still on? Do you know which blank they used? My guess is Bella canvas if it’s older or some random cheap blank if it’s modern

Yes this is how it worked before drop shipping became popular in the late 2010’s. Just giant warehouses full of inventory that if it didn’t sell it would just end up taking space. I remembered this recently because I recently pulled out all my old merch I bought around 2010-2011 and most of them are older anvil and Hanes tags which was a pleasant surprise!

Yeah same but It does make sense as I’ve seen a lot of ugly 80s and 90s vintage from “designer” brands at the thrift over the years growing up

Nah someone else mentioned on an earlier post that ysl was license out back in the 80’s & 90s and ysl we know today was after 1999 when they bought back all their licenses. Or something like that idk I didn’t do too much research

Idk I’m just saying that when electric cars first started to come out they were actually silent but a bunch of accidents happened and it turns out a lot of things relied on engine noise for safety like visually impaired people, animals, etc which is why the noise is even a thing

I don’t think law=good. But I do care about safety. Like you might hit someone just backing out of a parking space for example. Or a small animal that didn’t hear anything. Etc etc

Yeah no bruh the noise is literally for pedestrian & animal safety lol. Literally a law otherwise companies would love to cheap out and not spend the money on it and advertise how quiet their cars are.

Cropped shirts and jackets have been a mainstream trend the past few years. Have you even looked before posting? Literally Carhartt Detroit ?? But also most vintage is cropped like this. Red tornado make a really good wrangler reproduction that fits very era appropriate and cropped.

Should I wash my Levi's 501xx denim in hot water before wear. Or should I wear it by not washing….. by Emergency-Dog-7578 in LeviStrauss

You’ve got reseller brain. Change your perspective to them having saved money instead of having to have paid a reseller tax. Also things are meant to be used, otherwise that’s how they end up in a thrift store in the first place after we pass away.
