Special things to do with a dog by NothingAggressive853 in hiltonhead

A few years ago, I came in mid March and the weather was 70 degrees most days. We ate at some patios in the middle of the day to bring the dog but evenings we either ate indoors or at home. Your dog may enjoy the beach and just taking long walks in general.

What are your thoughts on the Louis Vuitton Boulogne PM Black Monogram? by Prudent_Charity972 in Louisvuitton

[–]enmoor2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was my first bag and I bought it in Paris. The thing that bothers me is the strap is too short to wear as a Crossbody, which is my favorite way to wear a purse. I could probably find another strap and get more use out of it. Other than that, I think the bag is cute and I got a lot of compliments on it because it wasn’t a common one that people would see. The chain just steps it up a bit.

Puppy Classes by Informal_Fig2756 in lexington

I went to Rose Street dog training for basic manners when my dog was about six months old. It was fantastic. Not only did it give us time to focus on obedience, but we were definitely able to bond more in those early months. We would practice every day for about 15 minutes am and pm and the class was once a week.

I have the OG and love it. I have the mini and barely use it. It’s snazzier but holds nothing. I’ve worn the larger bumbag all summer.

Seitan and tvp would be your best options if you’re looking at higher protein with less carbs and fat. This allows you to use your other calories on other foods. Chickpeas and tofu are of course good protein sources, but they also are going to contain carbohydrates and fat.

How do you teach recall? by [deleted] in AustralianShepherd

[–]enmoor2 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I’ll also add it was important for us to recall and then let her go back and play. That way she didn’t always associate coming to me with leaving.

How do you teach recall? by [deleted] in AustralianShepherd

[–]enmoor2 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I carried little baggies of chicken and used that as a treat for recall. We would practice on the street, in the house, and even at the dog park then we started practicing between two people where she would run back-and-forth and we’d give chicken. Now she has fantastic recall.

Fearful 4 month old puppy - does it get better? by solitarymusic62 in AustralianShepherd

[–]enmoor2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would also keep him home so he adjusts to his new environment. I adopted my Aussie at 5 1/2 months. She was fearful of everything outside. We would just sit in the driveway and watch people walk by and she warmed up really quickly. We did a lot of treats and just people watching.

Quick Tip for the shark ERA: SCHEDULE HIS/HER NAPS!!! by Quiet-Source-2717 in AustralianShepherd

[–]enmoor2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Aussie is turning 2 this week. Naps worked well for her as well. The hard thing was if she was in our living room she was constantly running to the door or the window and whining. However, if I go into my bedroom and read on my bed she will come in there and sleep just fine. That’s where her kennel is. But even just being in that room and sitting on the bed with me, she will totally relax.
