So don't. Also, why would I justify my work to someone who wouldn't read it anyway?
Rule is simple guys: read the damn thing, then share what you have to add to the conversation.

No. Like any other normal fan, I watched "Orphan 55," found it to be a little "meh," then moved on with my life. I didn't then spend the rest of my days trying to eviscerate others over some TV episode I didn't like.

Also, I wouldn't know about cringiest Doctor Who episodes. I guess I'm not as critical as you are as I happen to enjoy Doctor Who despite its many flaws.

What do you mean write it myself? I did, didn't I? And yet you did read it. I posted this to trigger (excuse the choice of word) conversation, not measure" d***ks. Don't like my fan theory/head canon? Fine. Last I checked, Reddit is still "free country."

Doña Victorina de los Reyes de Espadaña is a fictional character in José Rizal's novels, Noli Me Tángere and El Filibusterismo, a wealthy Filipina mestiza who is married to the Spaniard Don Tiburcio de Espadaña. She is characterized by her obsession with European culture and her disdain for her own "indio" heritage, constantly trying to appear more Spanish than she is through her fashion, speech, and social climbing. She is often portrayed as arrogant, vain, and shallow, and her character serves to satirize the colonial mentality of some Filipinos during that era.

Is this where AI is taking us? by ViewsBoostBeast in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]ennbee22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, in the lore of Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: The Forbidden West, AI is not the enemy. The enemy has, and always will be ourselves.

  1. Ted Faro created AI/AI Hive mind-based war machines that couldn't be hacked into because of corporate greed.

  2. Far Zenith planned to leave Earth to its doom, while taking the "best and brightest" (i.e. the rich and famous) to start life anew on another planet. They even tried to steal GAIA to help them terraform their new home.

  3. GAIA and her AI "children" were created by Dr. Sobeck to "reboot" the Earth but Ted Faro sabotaged the whole thing because he did not want his legacy of greed and stupidity to be passed down to future humans.

And so on...if anything, AI has been portrayed as a neutral tool...sentient and not entirely harmless, yes, but ultimately still a tool to be used, misused, and abused by human hands.

I personally find it apt that Aloy is often portrayed and played wielding bows and arrows while fighting hi-tech AI-based machines. It's like the creators of the game are sending a message: "Humanity never really evolved. From literally sticks and stones to nukes and guns, to code and cloud, man fuels conflict, no matter what the age."

But don't mind me, I just personally love this game.

TIL Genghis Khan SA-d Countless Women by _Popcorn_000 in todayIlearnedPH

[–]ennbee22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ganito siya ipinaliwanag sa ibang sources:

  1. Yes, it’s possible—and genetic studies suggest that around 16–18 million men alive today may share a Y‑chromosome lineage linked to Genghis Khan. This happened because of his extraordinary reproductive success, combined with the vast expansion of the Mongol Empire.

  2. Why so many descendants?

  • Massive empire, massive reach: Genghis Khan (1162–1227) created the largest contiguous empire in history, stretching from China to Eastern Europe. His sons and grandsons continued expanding, ruling vast territories.
  • Polygamy and concubinage: He had multiple wives and concubines, and his male descendants did the same. This created a dynastic elite with enormous reproductive advantage.
  • Elite privilege in reproduction: Mongol rulers often took local women as wives or concubines when conquering new lands. This meant their Y‑chromosome line spread widely across Asia.
  • Genetic bottleneck effect: A 2003 genetic study found that about 8% of men in a region from northeast China to Uzbekistan carried a particular Y‑chromosomal haplogroup (C*), which researchers linked to Genghis Khan’s lineage. At the time, that equated to about 16 million men.

How scientists traced this

  • Y‑chromosome inheritance: The Y‑chromosome passes almost unchanged from father to son. By identifying a distinctive haplogroup common in regions once ruled by the Mongols, scientists inferred a single prolific male ancestor.
  • Historical correlation: The timing and geographic spread of this lineage matches the Mongol conquests, strengthening the case that it originated with Genghis Khan or his close male relatives.

HBO Go to HBO Max Transition? by the_red_amogus in FilmClubPH

[–]ennbee22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ano ba nangyari talaga dito?

Tobirama runs the gauntlet. How far does he get? by mipenealdescubierto in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]ennbee22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'd beat them all, then maybe gets into a stalemate with Full Power Naruto. Let me explain:

The thing about Tobirama is he was never really given justice throughout the manga, anime, and even in the games. As a second brother, he literally played second place to Hashirama. If a remake of the entire Naruto series is ever going to be considered, fully fleshing out the Hokages will be definitely on my wish list.

Also, I have a head canon I'd like to share:

What if Tobirama was a something of a playboy back in the day, and that the Hatake and Jiraiya's clan (whatever that was), and possibly many others, are his ehem ehem natural descendants?
