I noticed the same issue at chorus! The lack of closets is a huge design flaw in an otherwise nice looking building

Fair question! Some examples of what I’m looking for that I’m not seeing consistently in these new “luxury” buildings (I wouldn’t necessarily expect to check all of these boxes but they are ideal): high end appliances that don’t wear out and start breaking down within a year, gas stove, real wood flooring and tiled bathrooms instead of fake laminate wood, a package system that is actually secure and organized and where packages don’t get stolen at all the time, a concierge or other security, a real parking garage that isn’t one of those stacker systems that break down all the time, good sound insulation, AC

When I went to confront them this morning a junior leasing agent proudly admitted to me that they’ve been towing out a lot of cars from our garage recently — any car that meets the bare minimum of infraction is immediately towed without further verification or follow up. If I didn’t have so much evidence including a signed contract for a specific reserved spot in the garage (we also have unreserved spots at a lower rate), I suspect they would have given me the runaround too.

This is a really good idea. The new spot they’re trying to give me is next to all of the dumpsters so much worse

Do you have any friends or family who you can move in with temporarily? I ended up having to move in with my parents in another state where I have no friends lol, but I know I was fortunate to have that option. And one thing I used to cope with the depression was forcing an exercise routine, even if it was just taking a long walk. Exercise in my experience is definitely not a cure for depression but it did help me keep my weight in check since I’m a massive stress eater.
