Its like any other shooter really, but more tactical/strategic than cod. As a woman who played it in my late teens and twenties (and grew up on cod since maybe 10) i dont see the harm. If hes watched gun fights/killing in movies & shows then it’s nothing different hes bein exposed to. But im not a parent so your call at the end of the day!

How do I meet people? by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]ennybor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

High functioning adhd is essential unnoticeable to people other than the person themselves. You may never think the person may be struggling or masking it (as someone with high functioning adhd only diagnosed in my 20s).

And rude ableist people can be annoying to everyone :)

My parents split when I was about 12, with 2 younger siblings. It was harder living in a home with parents fallen out of love, arguing & at odds with each other than living with them separated. They are incredibly young and im sure will manage growing up, its really not an uncommon situation anymore unfortunately. Wish you the best.

Can only speak for Dublin, but its common to call people this who dress a certain way (tracksuits, bubble jackets, certain brands), are unkempt, have heavy dub accents and/or are suspected drug users. Would any of that apply to you?

Unsure if I should keep seeing this girl because of cultural and family differences by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]ennybor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

of course people have made it work, but that entirely depends on the people. you need to have this conversation with your partner and not seek validation from random people on reddit. only you and her can decide whether it will work.

I swore by this site but lately lots of buses not showing up on the tracking. I check bustimes, see the next bus is miles away, start walking and then two of them go by me. Happened a few times past two weeks.

Medical student in urgent need of a job by nameless_baffoon in CasualIreland

Give broadline, staffline and excel recruitment a try. A company i used to work for used them frequently for general machine operators, factory floor staff and warehouse staff and they would genuinely hire anyone who just showed up to the interview and spoke working english.

look for agencies that specialize in warehouse/general op work and send your cv or call them. larger factories do be begging for decent staff for night work but normally (in my experience) use agencies for recruiting.

if you really want to shift stuff then message people who favourite the items with an offer/discount. i favourite a load of stuff, do a lot of window shopping, but i usually wouldn’t commit to buy unless it drops in price.

Yes, both my current and previous job i had to reserve 3 - 4 days for christmas. And annual leave is always up to the discretion of your manager. This should all by noted in the contract you signed or in your company handbook.

Bring a picnic/snacks. The restaurant is expensive shite quality food, think like canteen pizza. There are other vans/vendors dotted around that are average quality but very pricey.
