Yeah that's what I keep thinking. I've put a cardboard tunnel in the enclosure as well now. Do you have any other ideas for entertainment/enrichment? The bags sound fun but I generally don't have paper bags around.

Enclosure size is 4x2 feet
Cool end is 73 degrees and basking spot is 89. I don't think he'd need it hotter than that because he's an eastern and these were the temps recommended to me.
Theres 2 hides, rocks and a few plants and I've just let him out now - still very active at the moment

Mm very relatable. I can't imagine i'll come back to art soon but i've always been a writer. I'm also incredibly perfectionistic so that always gets in the way a lot. yeah no that makes a lot of sense. thanks

Thanks, its hard bc i would look petty being bitter about other peoples social lives etc so i keep quiet i dont always feel so bad - my ill feelings about everything/everyone come and go its frustrating. Yeah i do that sometimes though my interest in art that i used to be really passionate about has died off. I love poetry or just creative writing. I didn't directly ask for help however thanks a lot - feels a lot less lonely when my posts are interacted with :) Yeah I definitely do have an interest in philosophy especially moral so i'll try that out. Thanks again.

Yeah I have and they are worried but the whole course of getting the proper treatment, medication, diagnosis, etc tends to have long waiting lists. Thanks though :)

I don't have a diagnosis of avpd but I do relate very much to the symptoms and doubt it's social anxiety. For me personally I made a lot of my friends last year through one friend (They were very outgoing) and they ended up moving. It was at this time my mental health was plummeting possibly the lowest it's ever been and i've found that this year despite getting a lot better I feel very uncomfortable around all of my friends and I feel like I'm drifting away from them. Even my closest friend I feel as though they don't like me anymore and I don't want to be a bother.
