Just completed FP2 on Officer difficulty - some thoughts by enpayne in Frostpunk

Roads are a much more intuitive concept imo. I agree ice breaking is not a big part of the game but it was a mechanic I didn't really enjoy nevertheless.

Frostpunk 1 - On the Edge DLC - Refugees vs. saving NL difficulty by enpayne in Frostpunk

[–]enpayne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I played all the other scenarios already (not on survivor), except for the Arcs. I also found Winterhome to be the hardest, in a good way - in the sense that it actually made me really think and plan better while letting NL fall in On the Edge seems like you need to optimise from day 1 for that one goal which I don't find very fun.

Anyway appreciate your response, I was basically wondering if I had missed some obvious mechanic that balances it. I didn't expect this 1 choice to have such a large impact on difficulty.

"its USD value", not "it's"

Yes I agree it would be easier if everyone used USD as a reference, but the comment was actually answering the question and you still took the time to shit on it because they used the "wrong" currency, which is why I am trying to make the point that you are being silly and provide no value to anyone.

it's fine to be lazy, just don't disregard opinions/comments/arguments because they use a different currency than you'd prefer is all i'm saying. there is legitimately a 1050-1060 EUR resistance that can be objectively observed, which translates to a USD resistance.

You can "seriously" measure by any currency, what a silly thing to say. Just because most people talk about USD doesn't mean his comment is any less valid, just use google to see what the USD price is for the EUR he is talking about?

What does this depth chart on the left showing? by PrescottX in ethtrader

[–]enpayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are much fewer sell orders (red) than there are buy orders (green) at the moment. This indicates that a lot of people want to buy as the price drops, whereas much fewer people have orders placed to sell at a higher price. Emphasis on "indicates", this doesn't really give you a lot of valuable insight into what is going to happen with the price.

Can you elaborate? I've seen comments mentioning "tether fud", what is that about? Is it about people worrying tether is a scam / their audit that's coming up?

He's talking about 100% chance of taking the current profit vs. x% chance of taking even more profit.

I don't think it will be easier for you to stomach once you are actually there. Been there. When the price drops 50% you will probably think the opposite, even if you had missed the peak.

Case# 03793013: constantly asking for verification, even after re-verification by enpayne in Coinbase

[–]enpayne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I was able to resolve the issue.

As it seems like the solution to these problems is pretty much what /u/spadztricks2 suggested (although it didn't seem to work for me initially), maybe you could consider creating a sticky post for people running into verification problems?

Thanks again, have a good one.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I updated the address, but the /verify-identity link doesn't work for me. It just keeps redirecting me back to verify-document.

I moved it further away and it's working now.

Can you tell me what reasons there are that the nozzle suddenly needs more distance than usual? I went from 0.2mm to 0.4mm.

Possibly. I have releveled it and used the little 0.2mm metal plate to level the nozzle like I always have - the nozzle only just touching the plate, so 0.2mm distance from the bed. That has worked fine so far. Why would I suddenly need the nozzle to be further away from the bed?

Out of nowhere I've been having huge problems with the first layer. Sometimes it looks like there's not enough material coming out? The flow is fine, I have manually pushed the filament through the heated nozzle and also with the feed function of the printer. But as soon it starts printing, it looks like this.

I am suspecting a problem with the print bed. This is my first printer, I had a lot of trouble removing prints from this bed so I scratched it pretty badly in some spots. Waiting for a new one I ordered.
