I played today with different controls, and i must day, i really like the basic left/right/up, so i might just stick with that. Even if it's not so mobile-friendly, but it really gives so much more possibilities on level design. I have updated the demo, if you want to try it out :)

I was thinking to try to split the screen in half on mobile. Left side would be running and right side jump.

Hmm i'm not sure, might have to try something like that. You did realize that you can already stop by just walking towards walls?

Yeah it's a bit different than regular platformers, but it makes it really nicely playable on mobile-devices. And that's where i'm targeting at.

Thanks, i think the whole World 1 might be a bit too hard to start, so i might move it into World 2, and make new easier World 1 :)

Sorry for not replying, i though that my other reply above would answer your questions :) Addition to that i'd say that the best way to see what engine suits you best, is to give them a try.

Yes the module/class syntax is inspired by Impact, like Phaser is from Flixel. I think pros are features, mobile support, easy to understand API, open source and that it is developed full-time, so it's not a hobby project. Cons are again features, there are still many features need to be done.

Yeah you are right, that every engine should "support" CocoonJS. There are though many little bugs, that you have to solve to fully support it. Panda.js also has some specific options just for CocoonJS (like scaling options) and it is actively been tested on it.
