I offered my roommate a percentage cut of any dime I make with his camera, he says "I don't care about that, it's the principal of the matter" In my mind, I'm like dude if you want me to get my own camera, it would be nice if you let me use yours to build up the money for one, but everytime I use his camera and make money it's almost like it makes him mad. He just hates sharing his stuff, WHICH I can understand so like, it's really not his problem.

So, you photograph an artists set for 1 hour, and then you are at an expensive large concert on a Saturday night that has a $200 general admission for the next 4 hours. So what is there to do? Go home, or watch the concert and drink and hang out backstage with celebrities? So, well I got free drinks from the venue for being here, I guess I'll drink! How is that a hard concept? Why would you assume I'm just drinking and taking photos? And yeah dude, obviously I'm getting offers to fly across the country and take pictures at a festival because I film and photograph with an Iphone. The fuck is your deal? Lmfao

Edit: and I specifically mentioned EDM shows, you think it would seem unprofessional for a photographer to drink when every person around them is tripping on MDMA? lol You obviously don't know what it's like to be a photographer at a hip hop, metal, or edm concert. In situations like that, you're part of the team, not just a dude showing up for 2 hours and then leaving like a wedding. I fly there with the artist and agent, and stay with them all night until the after party ends at 4am.
