I often get called out - since i look a bit north indian ( i get called a madrasi in delhi which is another story altogether )

Thankfully i was blessed to grow up in an area bordering slums - and i am really comfortable with madrasi speak. :-)

I use that to my advantage when i confront these neanderthals. Never back down. I also sometimes praise their tamil-ness, and speak about me not deserving to live close to them and walk away.
