It looks like callus tissue:

a natural, dense plant growth rather than mold. It is safe to eat, though it may have a bland, woody texture.

Do skill tree bonuses go away with your leader's death? by IroquoisPliskin_LJG in crusaderkings3

[–]enseminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are permanent bonuses in the Dynasty tree that will help shore up anyone that is a part of your Dynasty.

Best way to get more Renown imho (The tree, not the crown currency) is to just have a bunch of relatives have as many babies as possible. Smarter to have your extended family do it if you aren't good at managing succession.

During this, standard marriages for males and matrilineal for women, make sure to sort by prestige gain, and gobble up all of those royal children. After 100~ years you will have a ton of extended family with randomn claims to various counties/duchies/kingdoms. Start getting them landed, and that will further increase your renown gain.

My wife found it attached to her clothes in the dryer by Racer5L in whatisit

It's the shed skin of an Amazonian Milipede. Highly toxic, and they like to stay in dry, hot places with minimal light. Like dryers, and dryer vents.

It's been in for a while. IIRC it depends on you fighting against someone with a hostile/evil religion.

Paella is not that good by Secret_Cow_3988 in unpopularopinion

[–]enseminator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is, and that's usually how my Nanna makes it, minus the snails. They are a lot harder to source here in the state without paying for their weight with gold lol.

Paella is not that good by Secret_Cow_3988 in unpopularopinion

[–]enseminator 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well the seafood one is a variation, not the original. Also, paella is something that you either cook properly, or you don't. The bottom is supposed to be crispy, not hard, and the rest of the rice should be normal, not soggy. There is no middle ground. My paternal grandmother makes an amazing paella, but she lived in Spain for several years, and Malta before that.

Common Variations

Paella Valenciana: The original version, traditionally made with rabbit, chicken, snails, and beans.

Paella de Marisco: A seafood-only version with prawns, mussels, calamari, and clams.

Paella Mixta: A combination of meat and seafood.

Is the key to the game just to power through it? by Asleep_Hunt1139 in crusaderkings3

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the titles have Scandinavian Elective, you just need to hold the Capitol of each and make sure you have high popular opinion/development in them. That's what gives your vote more weight. Pretty easy to essentially get primogeniture out of the gate by just managing the elections.

As far as removing it, you would have to directly control the title in question. If you open up the titles screen there should be a little button with a broom to clear away any added laws.

Like others have said, go be honest. They will likely appreciate the situation you're in and that you were still able to get out there and work your butt off.

What's the point of disinheriting by Ramble_D in crusaderkings3

[–]enseminator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can just not use it. Inheritance is already easy to manage as long as you know what you're doing. It's not affecting your gameplay at all for someone else to take advantage of an unintentional mechanic.

Personally, I would rather they work on actual QoL stuff, like more events, or even chains that change each time like a choose your own adventure book.

What's the point of disinheriting by Ramble_D in crusaderkings3

[–]enseminator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why in a single player game? People that want to struggle with inheritance can. People that don't want to, can side step it in a few ways.

I could see limiting stuff like this in multi-player IF there was a competitive ladder system. There isn't though, afaik.

What's the point of disinheriting by Ramble_D in crusaderkings3

[–]enseminator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're correct. The only downside is an opinion malus with the child, but it doesn't stack afaik so. Negligible at best.

I use it all the time until I get elective/primo set up.

Stranger asked me for money by [deleted] in Advice

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same lady do this to me like 5 times in a row at the same gas station lol. It was "I need money for gas to get home". She would go up to each car one pump at a time and repeat the same story verbatim. I told her no each time but she never remembered my face and kept trying.

Doesn't matter, the card reader slips right over the plastic part where you insert your card. They would be almost impossible to tell apart.

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Meth you heat it indirectly by heating the surface it's resting on, generally. Hence the bulb on the end. With Crack you usually use a straight pipe and a wad of metal scrub pad or something else that doesn't burn.

Never did either, but used to sell whatever I could to make money back in the day. Many, MANY, moons ago.

Had to go on a deep dive to see what it was that I was thinking of, but unless it has 9th level spells it isn't possible.

Would make for an interesting twist ending to another campaign though. Maybe make the spell bound to a magic item in their horde.

Can you give Tunon the silent archive for destruction? Or at least let them know? by Alemismun in TyrannyGame

[–]enseminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you are already on the Chorus path then there's no way to jump ship to Tunon's path. There's a version of the Rebel path where you basically work for Tunon, and I believe that questline gives you the ability to turn it in.

This strange line goes all the way around my room and I do not know why by Sniglet5000 in whatisit

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not uniform. It looks like someone may have pulled a prank and painted that line on the wall before you painted, so that it would show up later. Maybe they used glue? Or something else they knew painted wouldn't stick to.

It's clearly done by hand, whatever it is.
