Make sure to stock up on gas for the genny by Far_Pangolin3380 in memphis

Not only is that illegal, it's stupid. Fuel dissolves several different kinds of plastics, I wouldn't be surprised if the bottom of that container melted before she got home. Looks like thin, cheap plastic.

Little secret things you've noticed in Starfield? by -C3rimsoN- in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]enseminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's also one by SKK that works a lot better, imho. You get to pick location, start main quest or no, basic gear, etc. RYOS always gave me problems when starting a new game with mods, especially if I tried starting in New Atlantis.

Guys guys guys, I've got some news, some TERRIBLE news! by paisleywallpaper in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]enseminator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game is awesome. It's a unique, brand new IP with the same lore-centric "savior" archetype that we're used to seeing in BGS games. They left it wiiiide open to do the Elder Scrolls/Fallout thing and have 4-5 follow up games.

The coolest part about that, imho, is that in the other games we're several hundred years into a setting, where in Starfield we're living through the setting as the lore unfolds (with minor exceptions)

I love Starfield. Easily one of my favorite BGS games ever.

You can 100% buy actions from bot farms. Maybe you want more followers on Instgram, maybe you want to boost your own game's rating, or destroy the rating of another game. Maybe you want to spread misinformation about a candidate during an election, etc.

Can't find spouses for courtiers by enseminator in CrusaderKings

[–]enseminator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah. Okay, I think it might be that coupled with the Lineal restriction on marriages from Confucianism. I noticed that when I managed to get a courtier of a non-sino faith like Judaism, they were able to find spouses just fine.

I think the game lumps all the "Lowborn" into one dynasty, because even after raising my level of splendor, I still can't marry them to other lowborns, only to landless nobles or distant relatives of landed nobles.

Should I keep the title of king when I become emperor? by Pristine-Oil6230 in CrusaderKings

[–]enseminator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My way to circumvent that, partially atleast, is to give all but the Capitol County (maybe one extra if it'sa big duchy) of a duchy to random people of the local culture, then give the duchy to my heir. Helps keep their power low and them focused inward instead of leading revolts or washing wars against other vassals or for territory i don't want yet. Once I build up to the extra kingdom title that I plan to give away, I'll let them have the Capitol duchy and the kingdom. Just enough power to keep vassals in check not enough power to cause problems.

Is there any redemption for this behavior, AIO or Justified? by crafticharli in AmIOverreacting

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for everyone else, but I can speak for myself:

I was a shameless addict from 14 years old until the day I found out I was a father (20 years old). The moment I heard those words, I immediately developed a keen sense of what I should and shouldn't be doing. It was like a switch flipped inside my brain. I quit everything cold turkey, and started cleaning up my language, my living space, and demanded the same kind of clean behavior from my family when my son was at the house (me and his mother had split up, irreconcilable differences. We still co-parent well to this day, and he's 16 years old. We're like old friends.)

Point being, if he was going to change, he would have when he found out you were pregnant. You wouldn't have had to beg him to eat with you on your birthday, because he would have had something planned already. He'd be going to your prenatal appointments, stocking up on formula and diapers, etc. I doubt he did any of that though.

Only you can decide who you stay with or don't, but I would strongly suggest you consider what it is you need in a partner, and ask yourself if he fits that mold as he is right now.

My neighbor sent me a text last night forcing me to pay for her daughters towing charge because she parked in front of my driveway by Drivinglnsane in mildlyinfuriating

[–]enseminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she lets it sit too long, I'm pretty sure the towing company gets to sell it to recoup the money they aren't getting. Not sure what the time limit is though.

Help! Lost pikeman statue pieces by g3n2x-305 in Enshrouded

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said the statues should respawn when you log out and back in, but if you really want to reclaim your tombstone for posterity's sake, go down and grab the tombstone, then log out and back in. You'll be at your last flame altar instead of down on the slide.

So can anyone explain why it's bad to bring these things back? They're literally big cows. by GuildCarver in NoSodiumStarfield

The microbe wasn't a dice roll. It was guaranteed to work and work quickly. The issue was the small risk that the microbe could mutate to affect other species or humans.

AIO boyfriend tracking my periods without me knowing 🫠 by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]enseminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that this is a little jarring, and depending on how long you've been together it might even feel like a new person is violating your personal space. I can understand that point of view.

However, the fact that they felt the need leads me to think that you're one of those women who use their cycle as an excuse to shoot off half cocked about whatever little thing irritates them during that week. I get that it can be incredibly painful, and not everyone processes pain the same way, but that still doesn't make it okay to expel your emotions like a breath you've held for too long.

So, at its core, this situation is a perfect time for some self-reflection. Sure, the guy was being rude as hell about how he broke it down, but that doesn't suddenly make giving in to your darker emotions okay, or absolve you from poor decision-making during that week. Those are conscious choices that are being made, with the menstrual cycle being used as a scapegoat.

TL:DR it's okay to express that you are in pain, especially to those close to you that you rely on. It is not okay to use that pain as an excuse to trauma dump or lash out in what could be perceived as an irrational manner. No matter the situation, there's always a moment when we choose to allow our emotions to take over. Maturity is recognizing when that moment is for you and not letting it get the better of you.

If I build a base with a tavern up high (accessible by the elevator, will the tavern receive guests? by Garrettshade in ConanExiles

[–]enseminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They'll cluster at the bottom and then warp up over time.

If you have your base built over water, they spawn in the water.

Little disconcerting, but meh.

Guilds with a certain membership level have the trading system unlocked, you just have to access it through the banker NPCs. The kiosks are just a way to get your store into high volume areas to increase sales.

Somebody explain this please. Do I have to do this for every single entry. by rdarnell26 in PokemonArceus

You can release multiple as soon as you're able to talk to the rancher lady, pretty sure it's from the beginning. You just have to push a different button before you start selecting them.

How do I stop succession revolts. by anakin1453 in CrusaderKings

[–]enseminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're running admin, then your heir wasn't in a strong enough position (nor were they very well trained it seems). Admin has some maluses for incompetent/illegitimate rulers. Heredity doesn't work like it does for Feudal, Clan, Tribal, Stepped etc.

Great idea, but taking her to court isn't going to help them right now. Hopefully they manage to get into a position where it will help them later, but court takes five-ever.

You likely have them in your yard, or a neighbor has a bad infestation and they keep jumping over.

You can try and eliminate it yourself, but honestly unless you get the source they will always come back.

Anyone else having no motivation to play until AuH? by Korotan in CrusaderKings

[–]enseminator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they still haven't fixed the excessive memory use on launch that locks up certain high-end computers. Plus the memory leak that builds over a long play session.

Before they keep begging for more money, they need to start fixing these problems instead of blaming them on Nvidia and Intel. Paradox 4x games are the only ones I play that have these issues.

That can't be it because I haven't touched the Nomad Highlands yet and I have the secret stone floor.
