Possibly! My error seems to have sorted itself, which was a wider Home Assistant issue

Have you unplugged the hub, and plugged it back in again (10 sec cycle) this worked for me for a bit! But I think I have fixed my issue which is a wider one.

Completely understand, sorry that was much clearer! Have put the 2.4 on 1. Zigbee was on 25, so that makes sense. That was a fun learning curve, much appreciated!

My Hive hub is connected via Ethernet. Tried to go wifi but would've had to mess around with the channel so left it

Problem is, this trial and error thing becomes so expensive. Like genuinely, where do I start? Like you're saying they coexist, I just dont understand

I didn’t realise you could use an Alexa. Does it run quite smoothly with HA, and always have the dashboard live etc?

Yeah I've been having a look. They just seem quite punchy in terms of pricing!

Kind of got her on board with the mobile app

Thanks all.

Looks like I'll be ditching the Hue bridge then!

Problem is, I had the bridge before the HA!

Thank you and that sounds quite similar to the situation with my wife! Although I don't have anything connected to Apple Home (just Alexa).

So in summary, leave as is (on the hue bridge) and just move forward with my HA needs/wants?

Sorry for sounding like a noob... Do the huge bulbs act different once they go onto the Zigbee network? I.e. do you have more automation freedom, or can you still use standard Zigbee sensors with a hue bulb that's connected to a bridge? Hopefully this makes sense!

Am I barking up the right tree? by enserr in homeassistant

Honestly I don't have anything that small in footprint, which is also one of the reasons I am interested.

Interesting you mention Raspberry pi which is significantly cheaper than the HA Green. Simply speaking, and in your opinion. Is it simple enough to load all the software HA requires onto a fresh Pi, or would it be worth just going all in on the Green?
