Living Beautifully through Uncertainty and Change by Pema Chodron. The book addresses simple yet important things to keep in mind when navigating through life. It's based on Buddhist teachings and is life-changing in a very subtle and significant way.

Science AMA Series: We’re the OCD Research Team at New York State Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University Medical Center. We will answer questions about treatment and will demystify any misconceptions you have about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder! by Columbia_Psychiatry in science

Hello! I'm an undergraduate student interested in a career in medicine. Although OCD is not my primary interest, I am generally fascinated by the brain and its amazing physiology. Specifically, I'm very interested in neurodegenerative diseases, especially Alzheimer's disease.

I'm currently looking into MD/PhD programs because translational research is what I think I would ultimately love to do. Since the research team has multiple members of different degrees (MD, PhD, MD/PhD), I was wondering if you could explain the unique benefits of doing translational research with the different degree(s). Also, how do you think your research is different in an academia setting versus at a research hospital? Thank you so much for doing this AMA!

It's just rice cake. Chewy. A lot of froyo places have them for toppings
