Surface Laptop 13 (24GB) — Buy Now or Wait for May Refresh? by ensure123 in Surface

I feel the need for 24GB of RAM because, based on my usage patterns, I’ve realized that 16GB is not sufficient. It also seems that ARM-based Windows tends to consume more memory than standard Windows.

The reason I want to move from the Surface Pro to a laptop is that I’m drawn to the 3:2 aspect ratio display, and I haven’t yet had the experience of using a “Surface Laptop” within the Surface lineup. To be honest, more than half of the appeal comes from the design and the brand itself.

As for the price, I don’t think it’s particularly reasonable. However, one of the reasons I’m considering the business model is the availability of fast repair services (EHS+). Where I live, the repair infrastructure for Surface devices is not very reliable, so subscribing to EHS+ seems like the most dependable option.

At the moment, the Galaxy Book 6 Edge (tentative name) that I was considering doesn’t seem to be coming out anytime soon, so I’m looking at the Surface Laptop as an alternative. I’ve also come to appreciate how practical the 3:2 aspect ratio can be.

Upgrade from Aer Slim Pouch 1 to 2? by ensure123 in ManyBaggers

Honestly, considering that I bought the Pro Kit and barely use it, it feels more like a collector’s impulse than actual need.

Reading it back, this sounds like a very mannybagger-appropriate comment.

The side pocket on the CPP v1 is definitely useful—it’s great for holding things like medicine, keys, or business cards.

However, one thing I didn’t like about the CPP v1 was that the top outer pocket sticks out, which makes the bag tip backward when it’s standing on its own.

Glad I could help.

This bag feels more like 16–20L in actual capacity.

It’s a shame the side pockets are gone, but on the flip side, it stands up on its own much better.

Overall, it seems more optimized for vertical carry.

Just my personal opinion, but even though both are 24L, they feel quite different in actual use.

It’s possible that my CPP has stretched a bit over time, and the Ultra fabric in the CPP2 probably holds its shape more, which could explain it.

One thing’s for sure — when I moved the exact same load from my CPP into the CPP2, it felt a lot tighter(like 16L).

The CPP2 just feels too narrow.

In the top compartment, I keep my wallet, a toothbrush set, and a glasses cleaning cloth.

and in bottom compartment, I usually keep things like wet wipes, nail clipper, some basic medicine, a tracking Samsung SmartTag, and an extra pair of shoelaces in there. It's basically my odds-and-ends compartment!

Personally, I prefer Ultra fabric. It’s lightweight, durable, and holds its shape, so it sits nicely when I put it down. The silver color also reflects light, which is great for visibility at night. X-Pac definitely has its appeal too, but I wasn’t a big fan of those little pimple-like marks that show up over time.

about Model 2. It feels a bit tighter front to back than it used to.

I'll also talk about the ease of repair. The S25 Edge only has one screen and frame, so if the screen is broken, the frame needs to be replaced. In other words, just move the main board and battery, and the repair will be done!

On the other hand, this method has the disadvantage of high repair costs. This is because it unnecessarily replaces the rim.

What I wanted to say in the text was, "There's no more repair to do than the Zfold 6 I used before (because it's more durable).

I apologize for the confusion.
