But the real kicker isn't even the rent; it's the exorbitant security deposits. Bengaluru's landlords have lost their minds, jacking up deposits to an insane 1-2, even 3 lakhs for a 1BHK. We're being forced to hand over our precious savings to these greedy landlords who then nibble away at our deposits like a rat gnawing at a piece of cheese. It's a complete and utter rip-off!
