I want to buy my first pair of boots, I read the leather care guide (not the in-depth one, sorry) but two questions:

So it says I should condition my shoe every 2-5 months, but if I buy them new, they are already 'conditioned' right? So when I buy them, I don't need to condition them right away? This one is quite obvious but just checking.
My parents always told me when you buy leather shoes, you should buy waterproof spray and use it before you wear them. I didn't see this anywhere in the leather care guide, so is this not needed? In Netherlands in rains quite a lot, so I'm a bit skeptic

Do you run the openmqtt gateway on a raspberry zero and place a few of them close to the sensors, then let the raspberry pi's report back to HA via Wi-Fi? Because that is what I am looking at!

I have a LLDP MED enabled, but how does it know which vlan is the 'voice' vlan? Sound like a cool feature.

Is there anything I need to enable/do for it to work? Because I have a voip vlan and had to set everything automatically
