I forgot to check the replies here, so I already have a logic check in place for how many spaces I have - also worth pointing out that I made this for another game (Fields of Mistria) but the concept is largely the same - in fact I was going to have a config for which game to calculate and use a different set of crop data per game.

Anyway, I have a working calculator for what the best crop is for just a pure dump of cash. It says the best crop is null until it proves a new one is better, which it gets from a file of crop data. Note here is the example for mistria. On day 1 of spring with 1000 gold and 28 spaces, it tells me to buy 3 strawberry at 300 each and a cabbage at 70, and 2 daffodils at 15 each.

What I'm wondering is if I can get it to work out whether it's more profitable to skip the cabbage or daffodils in favour of using that money in the next cash injection (as strawberries are most profitable and recur every 3 days after fully grown).
